Hello, those who are aware, a user who goes by Scompy created a mod that allowed slimes to spawn on the surface, although still slightly rare, but allowing a player to easily obtain slime balls for sticky pistons. Well, I have updated his mod for him so that everyone can use it. The 1.6.6 version is compatible, but caused the client to crash whenever you did anything in the pause menu so I have fixed it and modified it slightly because I thought it would be more realistic.
If you download this mod, please post a comment with how it is so I can make it suit everyones wants and needs. Also give a shout to Scompy for coming up with the mod idea, I just updated and fix it :tongue.gif: I dont need any thanks

Updated to version 2 Wooopeeee, everything is now configurable!
Installation Instructions
Please note, you do not need Modloader for this mod to work, however after testing, it is Modloader compatible
Step 1 - After downloading and extracting the mod class files to the directory of your choice, open up the bin folder for minecraft, on windows, it is %appdata%/.minecraft/bin
Step 2 - There should be a minecraft.jar file in the there, open it with an archive program like winrar from rarlab so you can view its contents, do not extract it, just view.
Step 3 - Drap the mod class files into the jar file.
Step 4 - Close the archive program and load up minecraft.
Step 5 - Restart minecraft because I have not got it pick up the config file properly.

Easier Slimes - Allows you to change the hide, spawn rate, and more through the easy to configure properties file! Love slimes but cant find them, this is for you! http://adf.ly/2A5LY
Im not sure how to fix this, but when you start minecraft, it will put the config folder where you run minecraft, and you must reload minecraft for it to be picked up properly. If anyone knows how to stop this please let me know!
Nope, all I have done is set up the project in eclipse, moved the ie.java and Start.java to the project folder, setup my jar and native locations and the run config. The only modification I have done is added ModLoader to the minecraft jar which was decompiled. I have never had this issue before when I made my mods so thats why I am stumped.
Hello, for the past days I have been having a problem with my MCP. I have modloader installed, everything decompiled and everything in the right place, just as I had before when I had no problems, but I keep getting this error.

Surprisingly there may be a mod for it, I may look around, if not, I have some ideas in mind how the gui may look and function, keep watching the post whenever you get a chance and see if its in the poll. Probably :tongue.gif:
Do an escalator mod. It would be cool for and entrance to a house and other things.
Where = Cobblestone Stairs
Where = Redstone
Do you mean like, stairs that push you along like a real life one? Powered stairs? lol, maybe, just maybe but I wouldnt know where to start, some physics maybe? :biggrin.gif:
Sorry for not being so active on the thread have been really busy. In other news, Minecraft Code Pack is messed up and isn't allowing me to compile so I'm trying to fiddle with things to get it working again. Will report soon.
Redstone armor/weapons (maybe 1st craft 9 redstone to 1 redstone block, then you can use them in crafting, cuz same redstone dust would be too common).
This also has been done before, check the released mods forum, if you do not like their mod, I can make a version for you and you can tell me what you want changed and added.
How about a mod that adds items that smelt the item they mine.e.g. ->
without going through the process of a funace though a hoe would have no use whatso ever.
could be made out of redstone,lava and maybe diamond and obsidion to make it harder to get.
Maybe another use for a gold pickaxe, where it will dropped the blocks smelted form when you mine it. So, iron ore would drop an iron bar and so on.
How about a mod where you mix dyes with water buckets to make paints? They have 16 uses and change the colour of one side of a block (not adding a layer). There would also have to be a paint remover. This would allow you to paint your house and make it look nice without wool and double-thick walls.
This would be cool, maybe have a bucket that will hold the colour and u mix dyes with water buckets like you said and then dye the water to make paint, sounds pretty cool, I may experiment with that. So you know, in single player commands I believe there is a plugin for it otherwise it may be in the WorldEdit jar, check it out if you want, should be more information on the thread.
Is there a specific distance you want it to go? I was thinking around 25-35 blocks long because having it infinite defeats the purpose, but maybe I can do settings and you can choose yourself?
Get optifog (+optimine built in), you can change the settings very much so, it improves game performance up to double or more in some cases, and you can configure trees, clouds, rain, snow, and other things individually so you have more freedom.
I really like the drill mod idea and to be honest, that is something I would do. I would like to do some research first because I don't know how to make a item have an inventory but once I do that, I will send you a pm and let you know if I start it.
I have noticed that the properties of water have changed a bit. When you place a source block it now leaks.. and doesnt stay in midair like it used to. Can someone confirm this?

At this time I do not have the coding skills to do something like this, it sounds pretty fun for a smp plugin though.
Underwater... has always fascinated me. This may and most likely will be in the poll that I start very shortly and people can vote for it.
