I am a beginner Moder (I haven't made any mods but I am learning) and I would like to play with the source. I promise I won't give it away as my mod, I would just like to play around with the code. If you need to, you can p.m. it to me.

Edit: Never mind, I should learn to read the first post of a form... I'm stupid...

posted a message on M.C.P. Won't work. Please help!
I am on a Powerpc Macintosh computer, I have python 2.7, and Minecraft 1.1. I would really like to make some of my own mods, but every time I run the decompile.sh it comes up with this message:

Can you help me why this is and tell me how I can fix it? If you need more computer specs, I can give you more.

Also, I know I need to upgrade my computer to a Macbook or something like that, but right now I don't have the money, therefore please don't say anything like "get a new computer! NOOB!"

Thanks for giving the time to even read this. Any help is appreciated! :biggrin.gif:

I have a Mac 10.5.8, Power PC (Not Intel), and 4 Gigs of ram. Now its not even close to the best computer in the world, in fact a lot of times I'll get about 10 FPS. Optifine and LSOD do not work on my computer because of the Java version. However Optimine seems to work just perfectly! But if its not going to be updated, may we have the source? I know that I would love to update it for all those slow computers (like mine).

Would it be possible to let us to have the source? I'm not a professional java coder, but I would like to see how hard this mod is to make. However I could make this mod compatible with other mods and help I could help with bug fixes.

    Just a request :biggrin.gif:

This is just a band-aid that covers up an existing problem. It solves nothing.

I know its just a "band aid", but its mainly for the people who can't play minecraft in between updates. If I run minecraft like this I can get around 60 frames per second! Instead of 20-30 FPS.

    Mac Users! Read This!

    Run minecraft with more ram:

-Make sure minecraft is in the applications folder
-turn on terminal and copy and paste this in
    cd /Applications/Minecraft.app/Contents/Resources/Java/
    java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar minecraftLauncher.jar
    -Press enter

I have it set to run minecraft with 1G of ram make sure you have that much ram to begin with.

To everyone who is getting 1-9 FPS on a Mac!!!

Copy and paste this in Google: how to make minecraft faster allocating more RAM
It should be the first link(www.buxville.net/)
    Then follow what it says!

This helped me A LOT. Before I got 10-20 FPS now I'm getting 60 FPS!!!
Oh and one more thing it helps to not run minecraft in full screen :biggrin.gif:

Idiot #4: the one who calls out the rest of the idiots for flaming, complaining, etc.
you do realize by you calling out the idiots for flaming and things like that makes you look just as bad as them...and it makes you part of that 99%

So I guess what you just said makes you part of this 99% of the forum too!!! Hurray!!! We are all Idiots!!!

You have really high expectations for the community that goes to the suggestions thread and asks for cars and guns, all throughout using horrible spelling and grammar.

These people are addicted. If people are addicted, and the playability of the game relies on this mod, they're going to be impatient about it. Deal with it, don't act like you're superior because you have more patience.

On another note, to those of you trying to act all polite, it looks really pathetic.

Idiot #1: "WHENZ DIS CUMMIN OUT I NEEDS TO PLAYS"
Idiot #2: "Shut the hell up dude, be patient, he does this in his spare time, he can do what he wants"
Idiot #3 (to avoid getting flamed like the above guy): "Hey.. um I was wondering, when are you going to release this? I can barely play the game and it would be extremely helpful for this to come out soon ^.^"

All 3 examples describe 99% of what this thread has become..

I agree! Every single update people are saying "Update this mod PLZ" and crap like that, I always look at the back of this forum just to laugh at some people. I will have to correct you though, that is what ALL mod forums have become. It is so hilarious how addicted people are.

I think the mod wont get updates until MCP gets updated, like my mods... but there is a way to update a mod without MCP, however I'm do not know how to do that, so any mod developers out there if you can update it or tell us how to update it please let us know.

I think this mod should be implemented to the game!
