    Slowly but surely im still doing things behind the bars ^_^


    1.8.9 (if i still have it) should hopefully be released Soon. and a 1.10.2 port is in the works. 1.10.2 broke many things and is working on fixing.

    Nothing too fancy has been updated, however, this does leave good ground for any devs out there interested in picking up the project.

    Features in upcoming update in a week:

    • A WIP Transport System.
    • A Block to relay any Blocks Rift Connection to another with up to 16 different connections.
    • Limiting range of all Rift Blocks
    • Improved API.
    • Rift Creeper Bug Fixed.
    • Tools! to keep your precious Rift Machines from causing destruction!
    • Rift Machines will have a chance to vanish if broken without proper rift tools. along with adjacent blocks and items. (beware)

    Mod Update: The Rift is being released in stage alpha! what does this mean?

    • BUGS! Surely there will be plenty, I have reduced the number of bugs to minimal.
    • Ability to Process Ores and produce Re and Store it!
    • Get a sneak peak at all the things The Rift has to currently offer!
    • Yet being released, remember it is still in alpha, many features are not included. such as certain Crafting, make-shift crafting recipes. Not Final or missing Textures. inproper or not finished mechanics.

    Feel free to leave feedback and suggestions along with bug reports! I will squash them during the week and release new hotfixs every 2 days and updated versions every week or so. This mod shouldnt be put into immediate use in your worlds! for things could change and drastically alter Blocks, RE, and other mechanics. You have been warned!



    Known bugs:

    • Rift Creeper Explosions may cause crash

    Functionalities so far:

    • Dematerializer: Top Slot = Ender Pearls, Left Slot = Random Items, Bottom Slot = Containment Valves, Right Slot = output. Cannot Push/pull Items/RE from itself.
    • Processor: Top Slot = ContainmentValve, Left Slot = Ores, Right Slot = Output, Bottom Slot = Essence Chunk. Cannot Push/Pull Items/Re by Itself
    • Essence Vessel: Top Slot = ContainmentValve, Bottom Slot (WIP) = input for Rift Containers. Has Ability to pull/push Re into various Machines.
    • Rift Mechanism: left click to cycle modes. Insert Mode = Block A will insert into Block B. Eject Mode = Block A will eject from Block B, Gui Mode (WIP) = display gui of Which Blocks are connected to what. Clear Mode = Clears selected Blocks if made an error.
    • Rift Blade: Used to gather Pearl Fragments from Rift Creepers. and as a bonus, adds Re to RiftFluxCapacitor if in inventory.

    Mod Update:

    • enhanced RE system and bugfixes.
    • New Mob added along with Mobile RE transport,
    • New Swords, Tools, and Armor
    • Updated Textures.
    • New Method for obtaining ender pearls.

    The Rift will be available Soon for pre-alpha testing. giving new capabilities to Minecrafters! I hope you guys enjoy the New update and expect a download within the week!

    Hello Everyone The name is bfox1, I am not the best and creating a STUNNING Forum thread so here I go.

    The Rift is Officially in Alpha!

    The Rift was intended to be a small mod including one block called The Rift Chest. giving one simple function, Pulling Items from any Inventory its "linked" too in the world and ejecting it to any adjacent chest of the Rift Chest.



    Seeing that 1.10 is lacking some extensive Mods, ive decided to create a Full Blown Mod. With constant brainstorming and planning, i have an Idea for an Ideal Mod which will consist of a new way to double ore, new Power System/Energy System, a balanced way to transmute items into other items or blocks, a new dimension, Sorting system of sorts(not exactly a sorting system, but if planned right, could support other mods with sorting systems), and Much more.

    As seen above, the Rift Chest can work with Mods. and is a very powerful Block, hence why this Mod will be considered a mid-late game Mod. Blocks and items wont be cheap or easy to make/find. but yet finding that perfect balance of progression and not tiresome to collect resources.


    With these few videos of what is currently available, I hope it will serve as a great edition to the new generation of Mods for 1.10 and forward. I hope you guys enjoy what you see and will try my best to push forward for a nice build in the future.

    It's only loosely based off SAO (eg 7 skills instead of 12) but it's an open source API. Anyone with even the most basic modding experience can very easily make new skills using it - the only java limitations are what you make your skill do ;)


    It's actually built to tie-in with my gun mod Advanced Armoury - so if anything I'm closer to making a GGO-style setup. Only a small jump from there though, if someone wants to help me rebuild the Cardinal system to get AI mobs/items generated randomly then we'll be set. ;)
