I created dawnstar with one other friend of mine. Yes it was built in Creative mode, so if you want to join in to attain any achievements please move on. Dawnstar is located right no the border of a massive desert and an even more massive tundra. It is a beautiful place full of many things to do and look at. Keep in mind that everything(Mostly) outside of the city walls has been completely untouched and is ready to be explored. Dawnstar doesn't have a huge list of stupid rules for you to follow. Dawnstar DOES NOT auto-save. Every time I am going to shut down the server I make a quick sweep of the area to make sure everything is intact.
Rules:
1: No Stealing/Griefing
By this I mean no breaking into someones house to steal their items. BUT, if you to find a chest on someones land that is completely wide open no one will stop you from taking it's contents.
2: Build only outside City Walls
Please try to venture off a ways before you build. That way if Dawnstar is in need for an expansion it will be able to do so. Also there is somewhat a theme to Dawnstar. If you are going to build within seeing distance of the city it needs to follow that theme.
3: Be Respectfull
In order for this server to work we all need to be civilized. I have no fancy money system in place so when you need something find someone who will be willing to trade you for what you want. Also there are many things on this server that only work if you treat them nicely. Such as a public farm that needs to be taken care of by the public. Also there is a High-Tech Minecart Station that will also need to be respected and taked care of. These priviliges are available to everyone, but they can be taken away if not treated right.
4: Have Fun!
That is it for the rules. Just have fun, play the game like it was meant to be played. And don't get Kicked!
Areas
Dawnstar
~Bank(Not Open Yet)
~Town Hall
~Minecart Station
~Capital Building
~Public Farm(Watermelon & Wheat)
~Residential District(Earn your own plot in Dawnstar!)
~Lotto Game(Nether Portal)
Dawnstar Border
~Public Mine
~Dawnstar Port
Florin
~Fishing Hut/Hole
(Florin is currently being built and I would love some help making this a beautiful place to live. It is located on a large portion of the ocean that has been frozen over.)
You can gain access to Florin via the Minecart Station
Dungeons
I am currently building a dungeon at the moment that will be open soon. Once spawn eggs are present there will be many more dungeons with amazing prizes until then they will most likely be parkour type dungeons/puzzles.
I actually an awesome world that I was building for and RPG server I was going to make. At the moment I haven't touched it for a few weeks. I'll post a screeny in a second. But in the mean time message me. GT: Ka3pora_Ga3bora and I'll send you an invite to the game.Never mind, turns out you can no longer share photos to facebook. I think the reason this map failed was because my friend and I tried to make it to complicated like stated above. So I'll simplify things and have no currency.
Not true. I built a spawn tower that is actually quite a ways away from the exact center of the map. It works every single time, yet it starts about 15 or so blocks away from the center.
the compass doesn't point towards the center of the map...thats not what i'm saying.
it point's towards the center of your spawn...and from there you expand 15 blocks.
Here is how to do it. Find your spawn area by repeatedly killing someone and placing a block where they spawn around 30-40 times. It should start to resemble a square connect the outer most blocks together in a square shape (it should be a 20x20 area) once you have your square all mapped out just block up from the square to the height where you want them to spawn then following the square template on the ground make another in the air exactly the same. They will spawn on the top square now. Once u have it built you can remove the one underneath and your done I've done this with all my maps
A much simpler way would be to use a compace and find the exact center point, and mark in all 4 directions 15 blocks from that point, connect and done. You have your spawn.
Always up for learning a bit more redstone. I to am also fairly experienced but like to mess around and see what others have made. Add my GT it linked to my profile.
Hello, I'm simply looking to be linked to a tutorial system using storage carts.
I would like it to be where you pull a lever with the item that you want, push a button, and have the minecraft with those item come to you in a storage cart.
I've seen it done before but cannot seem to find the video that I originally saw it in.
I see you've discovered the monostable circuit. Because of your first inverter, it is triggered by a falling edge, when the input goes from the on state to an off state. If you remove the inverter and use dust, it will be triggered by a rising edge.
From what I can tell, this outputs a 7-tick pulse. You can adjust the pulse size by altering the timing of the repeaters on the yellow line. With a repeater left at the default of 1 delay, and the other repeater set to a 2-tick delay, this mechanism will output a 2-tick pulse.
This design can't send a 1-tick pulse, as that will turn the piston into a block dropper. I'm going to go take a few screenshots and show you a few designs that are easier and more compact. That also have the ability to send a 1-tick pulse.
EDIT: Here they are, all set up to output 1-tick pulses, but easily adjustable.
^^^ Rising edge triggered
^^^ Falling edge triggered
Okay, this next one is a bit weird and buggy. It can send a 1-tick pulse as a falling edge design, but only a 2-tick pulse as a rising edge design.
^^^ Rising edge triggered. I know, it makes no logical sense, but it works. Outputs a 2-tick pulse.
^^^ Falling edge triggered. Outputs a 1-tick pulse.
I could also show you some dual-edge monostable circuits if that sounds like something useful. They activate on both the rising and falling edges of a signal. They are commonly referred to as zero crossing detectors.
Ok so I used the first picture that you showed and it work quite well. It's silent which is good. This is all for the adventure map I'm making. If you would like to join my world sometime to take a look and maybe give me a few pointers that would be great!
So I came up with this device on my own without looking anything up. (Mainly cause I didn't know what to search for.)
Basically what I've done is make a contraption that pulses one quick redstone signal, only one. Now I'm sure there is an easier way to do this. But this is how I did it....
The white signal is the output.
This uses the fact that items despawn after 5 minutes. Once the item is despawned there will be a quick pulse to open and close the door.

Like an actual econamy system that works and just tells the person how much money they have. Like rupees!

I was wondering when they would add the feature where items grouped together. Like if you have two sticks on the ground it will look like one.
And do you think it will be added to the Arcade version anytime soon?

Because from the center point the play can spawn anywhere between 0-15 blocks away.
30x30 is really not that big. Not for the initial spawn at least.

If you have any questions feel free to ask.
BTW this was done on MCXBLA.
