    Me and a bunch of friends are starting a server, the plan is to have the server fairly big and hopefully make a bit of profit on the side of that. The plugin has a RPG medieval theme, with a few mods that boost the RPG experience the players, and helps us admin control the server.

    Now at this state we got most of the stuff figured out and in a week or so, we are going to start the beta teasing of the server with a handful of players who will test the concept of the server.


    We have diced to use "dokucraft" as server texture pack for the server since it's has a cozy feeling to it feels very medieval. we are going to use these mods on the server were "CustomNPC" are playing a major rol and it's items are going to be used alot:

    -CustomNPC

    -God’s Wepons

    -Mineblade

    -Harvrestcraft

    -VoxelMap

    -Biblocraft


    I have found a old version for dokuraft that supports customNPC but still some items are missing, I believe the patch were before the update to 1.7.10...

    If someone out there could make the texture for theese mod ore send me links to were they can be found I would rally appreciate it!

    But if you feel like make the missing texture I will pay you a great amount of money since I really need the texture as soon as possible.

    The missing texture for "CustomNPC" is:

    -All demonic weapons

    -All frost Weapons

    -All mithrill Weapons

    - Halbeard weapons

    - War hammers

    - Broadswords

    - a bunch of armors

    First of all I would just take a moment to give credit to Dangeresque486 for keeping this cool looking pack alive and good looking, this pack has been aroudn for a long time and I still think it's the best out there.

    Now I'm creating a RPG server with some mods a major mod we are using on the server is "CustomNPC" I did just want to ask if there is any texture for the tems/blocks for that mod,

    Or if some nice person could help me do the texture, I'll pay if thats the price..

    I'm making a RPG medieval inspired survival server, with a few mods that are souped to make the game play for the player more fun and adventuresitc. Now In this state the idea for the server has many similar features as the game "World of Warcraft" At this point We can't diced weather we should let the player go and build in the open world (mine, build houses and reform the terrain) the server will feature bosses and other interesting mechanics so we don't think the player will lose addiction to the server.

    ow is this a good or bad idea should the player be able to build houses outside of spawn of course or should the players farm and gather up materials to purchase a house in different cities, somewhat like skyrim were you can buy a property in different cities.

    What would attract the player to stay to build their own houses and mine etc. or farm up until they can build there own houses?

    Say that If we would go with the idea of the player not can break blocks in the open world, we will off course let them break trees and ores around the world but not anything else, so that they can craft their own weapons and Armour, to go defeat bosses and achieve new gear and miscellaneous pieces to their player.

    I'm in the process of creating a RPG server with a few freinds. Now what we are thinking is that the plyers should not be allowed to break any blocks in the world but only ores. is there a plguin/way to set that the players can't break anything ecept from all types of ores and trees. that roks with cauldron for 1.7.10 or spigiot...

    Me and my friend are going to get started building on our medieval theme server with castle villages and cities, the theme of the server will be a medieval inspired theme RPG, adventure type.

    At this point we can diced a texture pack to use, He want's to use "Sphax Bdcraft" and I beilve we should be using either "John Smith Legacy" , "Dokucraft" or "Gerudoku"

    Witch or these three recourse pack's do you think will fit the best in the building perspective for a medieval styled server/map

    Hello!


    So I went back into my minecraft to look for what texture that are corupted.

    These are the ones that I could find:

    -Dragon Texture

    -Ender Chibi texture

    -EnderMan texture

    -Ponies Texture

    -Slime Textures

    -Villagres textures


    I took a screanshoot of all the errors on the texture and uploaded them into a document into my dropbox, it would be very kind if someone could take a quick look at them :D

    Hello!


    I am amazed of this mod this must be one of the most professinal mods I have ever seen.

    I just downloaded it but I have a few questions/ (mabye buggs)

    I downloaded the version for miencraft version:1.7.10

    When I tried to make the NPC to a dragon it just looked like a normal player and the textures of the dragon were inside all messt up.

    And the Boss abilitey, If I would like to create a boss NPC when in the 1.7.10 version noppes ha removed the jobb "boss" how do I make my NPC to a boss now?

    Hello!

    I have been thinking of staring a server for a long time, now I both have the money, time and effort to do it. I want to make it professional and hopefully make a some what of a profit on it.


    Now I what I can't decide is weather if I should be using mods to create a unique RPG experience for the player och just a bunch of RPG plugins.

    I've looked into the RPG plugins out there, I found a bunch and watch some tutorials. what I can tell from looking at them is that's it pretty complex to make something, or at least you would most likely need to put a lot of time and effort into the programming part of the plugins.

    This is whats bugging me, I have theses to ways to continue on, but if I choose the mod route I would most likely need to make a sort of modpack via one of the popular launchers.


    My question is: do you thing that enough players will join the server even if I'm using mods as if I were not using any mods (bukkit+plugins)
    how many people will be able to download a modpack using a custom launcher etc.


    Hope for some really helpful answers and some good ideas :D
