    My idea-request is for throw-able boomerangs from, as the title suggests, the "Ty the Tasmanian Tiger" games.

    these boomerangs would be craft-able, as a reward from dungeon chests or some other way, the choice is up to you if you choose to make this mod :D

    The 'Rangs would each have special attributes: (click to see)

    The Boomerang is unbreakable, once you have one, you have it forever.

    The Zoomerang can zoom in, like optifine.

    The Kaboomerang throws both(dual wielding) at the same time to create an explosion that damages enemies, but does not destroy blocks.

    The Chronorang inflicts the slowness III effect on whatever it hits

    The Infrarang lets you see invisible blocks, (needs work)

    The Megarang jumps between enemies once it is thrown

    The Flamerang, Also unbreakable, can create fire where it hits, set enemies on fire, activate TNT and melt ice blocks

    The Frostyrang, Also unbreakable, can create temporary ice blocks, freeze enemies, and put out fires

    The Zappyrang, Also unbreakable, can emit a redstone pulse, if possible, and deals additional damage to enemies


    this is just the bare bones of this mod, most of which is up to the developers, if there is one :D

    I also am very interested in this idea, I am a huge fan of the games, wanted something like this for a while and would love something like this, as i am in the process of making the entire first game (levels) in minecraft, and would love to also have the additions of boomerangs, opals etc. :D

    How long have you been playing Minecraft: around 2 years maybe a little longer.

    I love minecraft, I try and play daily if time permits, I have a fair knowledge with most components in Tekkit and am quite good at building.

    Pics: sorry I dont have any, but I have made a fair amount of factories, towns and various redstone-related contraptions.

    A way to rotate the statues would be nice, either an item or it changes the direction while its being placed, also if they can be orientated at the bottom, not a block above - this isnt really necessary, it would just be easier :)

    did you install forge, delete the META-INF folder and put the jar file in the mods folder?

    you may just need a fresh install of minecraft 1.2.5

    Hi Ri5ux do you plan to add HD textures for the items?

    Also with the picture with the titanium tools, are those new/HD xeno skins, or just there for show? ;)

    And I'm having trouble opening some of the spoilers on the first page, I think they are the videos, progress, screenshots and downloads are the ones i remember, when they are hidden, there is two blank boxes where there would normally be one, and when I try to open them, nothing changes, other than the "hide/show" button

    Hi Ri5ux, if its not too much trouble, could you post some pictures of the new features (LV426 blocks, capsules, Titanium tools, the new types of Predator) only post them if you want to :)

    also what time-zone do you live in? I only ask so I know when the update is coming out in my time-zone :P

    some features I suggest

    - Marine Armour - crafted with iron armour and cactus green, considering how most marine armour is more green than grey :P
    - Some kind of light source that xenos can break/disable
    - Make the LV426 blocks craftable somehow :P
    - Bring back the W-Y Ceiling vent and grilled ceiling panel, as they were somehow removed from the creative menu, and in Too Many Items, they have the different textures (bricks and TNT sides, respectively) I was telling you about before :o
    - Change the top/bottom of the striped W-Y wall to match the plain one
    - Some way to keep grown xenos still - so they dont move ;)
    - Make some of the LV426 blocks half slabs
    - Carvings, that act like paintings but for Yautja Carving art
    - Make the Facehugger egg thrash around less
    - Pulse Rifles

    Also the bottom of the Facehuggers legs (if its on your head) are see through - possibly due to lack of texture?

    That is all for now ;)

    Do you have an estimated date for 1.2? if you dont/dont want to tell us, thats fine ;)

    just know that im not trying to pressure you by asking for a release date
