    This is going to sound ridiculous, but I appear to be stuck in the start area (in the ant cube). All four passages are blocked with bedrock. This is version 7.01 btw, which looks nothing like any of the versions in the assorted LP's on Platinum's first post.

    EDIT: I now see that it is supposed to teleport you, but that's broken in multiplayer. (yes command blocks are on, it changes your game mode in multiplayer, but it doesn't teleport you.)

    DOUBLE EDIT: Poked around with your command blocks at the zone entrances, and I can't explain why, but the relative player teleport just doesn't play nice with multiplayer. Changing it to straight up coordinates works, but relative teleports don't seem to function in any multiplayer dimension.

    Most mods reside here on the Minecraft forums, they dont actually have their own website (with the exception of Tekkit, and its actually a collection of other mods)

    Those mods each contain instructions on how to install, and I think you need Forge (makes mods compatible with each other) for the Portal mod. Viruses are generally not an issue if you are here on the forums, if (and when, it does happen) someone posts a virus they are usually removed very quickly by the forum admins.

    On mcedit, using the 1.2+ version ofcourse, click the button that says Chunk control, far right button on the hotbar, that will put you in a top down view, it will take 30 seconds to move it.

    The admin went overboard by starting with a ban, always do a kick or temp ban to get your point across. You weren't wrong, but you shouldn't have talked to an already pissed off admin, that's just common sense. What command was it anyway?

    Not possible. (assuming that you mean commands as in /time set 0) The server comes with some basic commands, and if you lock them out you can never fix problems that the server may have.

    Well the ID for a spawner is 52, but it uses Tile data (same way a chesst knows what its holding) to define the monster it spawns, and the only way to adjust that is MCedit, Risugami's spawner editor, or worldedit. Can also be spawned with NEI, but NOT TMI.

    Ive done it with Worldedit, select a 1x1x1 area and use the command /set spawner|cavespider

    The | between spawner and cave is shift+backslash.
    That works with SPC too, as it has a watered down version of worldedit.

    posted a message on Next level ABBA switch?
    I'm working on a 6x6 gravel door, with no wiring on top, so I'm designing a 6 tall piston stack to push the sand up, I've got the up working, that's simple, the problem is, I don't need an ABBA switch to close it, I need a "kigHheFfGgcDdEeFfaBbCcDdEe" switch, where capital letters represent powering a piston set and lower case is un-powering it.

    I tried taking St3venAU's "Reset-able 6 piston extender" () and modifying it to work vertically, but something is wonky about it.

    Note that this IS on a server, so there needs to be some slop in the timing, I suspect that's the issue I'm having with St3venAU's creation too.
