I play mainly to build redstone farms and one nice build to live in. 1.8 has peaked my interest in minecraft again and I would like to try it out again in a lag free mature vanilla environment

As I stated above. 1.8 looks to be fun in the new style of mob farms that you can build. As far as "decorative builds" I really only intend to build one. I tend to do it large but ya jsut one.

I am a mechanical contractor. So ya, I wont be on during work hours. I have a family. Not much else other than that.

Why do you want to join the server: I am looking for and active lag free survival 1.8 server that is fun to play on. I have tried about three up to this point but each one has been unreliable and not quite what I am looking for. 1.8 has really peaked my interest in Minecraft again and I want to enjoy it in a healthy multiplayer setting.
Why should we trust you?: I have never been banned from a server in my time as a Minecraft player. I enjoy playing the game itself not stealing from others, griefing, or being a jackass in chat. I know that we have not played together up to this point but I can assure you that I will do no harm on your server.
Have you played a Vanilla server before?: Yes, I have played on a couple of vanilla servers.
Would you consider yourself a "friendly" person?: Yes I would. As I stated above, I enjoy the game and playing the game; not acting immature and annoying. I am not the type of person that is going to engage in a long conversation while I am playing. I do participate a little in chat, but I tend to be focused on the build that I am trying to complete moreso than talking to people. So, I would say that I am quietly friendly. Likewise, if people ask I do not mind sharing resources at all.

I have been really motivated to get into minecraft again with the release of 1.8. Over the years I have played both vanilla and modded minecraft and while i like both of them I enjoy vanilla much more and want to experience minecraft 1.8 in vanilla for a good long time. Mouse seems like a nice person and one that will not abandon the server so I am satisfied with this choice and look forward to doing the best builds I can to showcase it nicely.

I enjoy building mob farms the best. I intend to build a non spawn chunk reliant iron farm, guardian farm, gold farm, and maybe a witch farm. Ive done them all before but I have seen some new ideas that are now available with the changes that 1.8 brought that I want to expand on.
If accepted, how active would you be?
I can play 3-4 hours during the week at night at most. I, however, would be online more during the weekend as I do have a full time career that I wont sacrifice for games.
