posted a message on Any Way to Enable New Biomes in 1.18 Datapack?

I've been looking into the experimental datapack for any way to enable the new biomes that were supposed to be added. Json files with their properties are inside the datapack but they still don't seem to be generating in a world generated with that datapack. So does anyone know any way to have them generate? I found no clear option for that in the datapack files myself so hoping someone knows some way to do it on here.

posted a message on My "Signal Terminator" and is There a Better Way of Doing one?

So I've been using this since I first got into redstone. I call them "signal terminators" because I haven't really seen anyone else use it, so either it's just never been done before, or the way more likely version, there is just a way better way of doing it. So does anyone know which one it is maybe? To give a few examples what I use it for, I mainly use it for loops, and disabling certain circuits. The screenshot below has been taken from me using it for a loop. I needed it for a minigame that has to be activated via a lever. The lever is pulled but I want it to constantly open and close a trap door, so I hook up a signal terminator to it, which disables the signal from the lever, closing the trap door, but since the sticky piston itself is also powered by that lever, it also get's disabled, so it retracts, before getting powered again and thus the cycle continues. I've used it in many similar contraptions where the input type doesn't easily allow for some sort of loop.

I also use it to manage conditions or disable certain other circuits. An example of this is a contraption a made a while back, where there were several possible levers for a player to pull, but since I wanted only one lever to carry its signal to its destination at once, I've hooked up a signal terminator to the other ones to prevent a signal going through, and also used it in other circuits where I need to easily manage which circuits should be allowed to do its thing. I also use to disable any traps, so the input doesn't reach its output.

So I'm attaching a photo of it below. It's just a sticky piston pushing a block, blocking a redstone signal that's dipped down one block. I'm guessing there's a way better way of doing all the things it does and that's why I've never seen anyone do it, so what's a better way of doing it? Or is it an actual thing people use a lot and I've just never seen anyone else use it?

posted a message on [1.14] Loot Table Stopped Working

I've tried importing a datapack from 1.13 into a 1.14 server, but the loot tables for custom items don't work, as they don't display the lore they should have. Here's one of the loot tables:

posted a message on Weird "Screen Tearing" and Similar Issues When Using V-Sync

I put screen tearing in speech marks as it's not traditional screen tearing. It's made up of these strange completely one-colour lines going through the whole screen, making the game unplayable. However, it doesn't appear when the game first launches and I'm at the main menu. However, if I go to another menu, or return to the main one, it starts to appear. And it only appears when the game is actively running. So for example, when changing a setting that makes the game freeze for a little while, it doesn't appear. Even taking screenshots, both with prtsc and F2 is enough of a freeze for the tearing to temporarily stop, so that's why I can't really show a screenshot of the issue. However, I even tried to record the issue with OBS and it didn't even appear in the footage. It started happening a few weeks ago now and affects all versions. And it is only when I have V-Sync turned on. So does anyone know what could be causing this?

Post the crash report and latest log. Crash reports are found in the crash-reports folder under the .minecraft folder.

"latest.log" is found in the logs folder under the .minecraft folder.
    Use https://paste.ubuntu.com/

Like I said, it doesn't generate a crash log, but here's the latest log at least:

For the past month or so, whenever I windows out of my game, after a second or two, it crashes. It brings up the launcher and a message from it saying that the game crashed, but no error log can be generated. This happens in all versions, both main ones and snapshots. So what could be causing this?
