Prior Roleplay Experience: I have played DnD for several years and also been on another rp server (LOTC) for over a year.
Define Power-gaming in your own words: Powergaming is when one player attempts to do something way out of their bounds or abilities to gain an advantage in a certain situation. Ex: The knight with one broken arm, a fractured ankle and an arrow in his chest manages to sprint across the battlefield and uses both hands to bring down a killing now with so much strength the world has never seen such before.
Define Meta-gaming in your own words: Meta-Gaming is using information your character does not know rply. Taking something from ooc chat or vcs and using that information in-game to change how you act, think, and speak to others.
Define Role-Playing in your own words: Role playing is the act of creating a fictional character/being/creature etc., who has their own unique personality, habits, lifestyle, and beliefs that you as the player get to then direct and display within a community.
--IC Information—
Character name: Solthyr
Race: High Elf
Age: 45
Gender: Male
Character Description:
(At least one to two paragraphs describing your character’s physical appearance, including height, eye color, and skin tone.)
Solthyr is a High Elf who comprises the general characteristics of his race with really no markings or 'defects'. He stands shorter perhaps compared to other high elven males at a height of 6'8". The elven man is of average weight for one of his size and his skin is that of pale white hue. His eyes, unlike the color of his pale icy blonde hair, are a pale light shade of blue. He dresses in a rather poor fashion, with only a short frosty blue cloak to cover the top sections of his pale chest and patched up trousers for pants. The only things that look of 'class' or 'higher quality' are some dull golden arm and wrist bands that adorn his arms along with some simple leather bands on his upper arms that have tassles of white and purple (dyed) feathers hanging from them.
Character Occupation: (Optional)
Solthyr has very very basic info on the concept of jewelry smithing. In that, he just knows how to create very basic charms from carved stone and or wood (or like the feather tassle armlet he wears but he had to go to a leatherworker for the leather band, he supplied the wooden charm beads and feathers).
(For us to understand your characters starting skill set, your character still will need to contact the Kingdom to purchase any property)
Character Personality/Traits:
(At least one to two paragraphs describing their personality traits and/or quirks.)
Solthyr is usually a reserved being when he can be. While not a total recluse or introvert he usually isn't one to take the center stage of attention. However, this doesn't mean he hates traveling to busy cities or seeing other people, he quite enjoys it in fact. There is always something to learn from others, no matter who the individual is Solthyr believes that each person he ever meets in life will leave, in some form small or large, a lasting memory or effect on him and his life. Therefore, he is never opposed to talking with others, he is just a bit awkward and not good at starting conversations. Now, while he speaks softly and perhaps sometimes with a slight melodic note, he isn't someone who strays away from humoring himself at the sake of others. He quite enjoys anything humorous, quick witty comments, and sometimes he gives way too much sass, not that he will ever admit such freely to others.
Character Biography:
(At least three paragraphs describing your character's history and experiences, you must reference server lore)
Sothyr was born during the days of the Pact War, his mother and father both fought to repel the orc, goblin and troll hordes. To this day he has no idea what ever happened to his father who seems to of disappeared during one of the battles. His mother refused to speak about him before she left and when she did it was always with malice and spite. During his younger years, he was never allowed out of the house his mother had secured for the two of them when they were on refugees essentially. She was overly protective after his father disappeared and she never let her only child out of her gaze for too long.
Things got better years later after the many wars that plagued the lands came to an end and Solthyr's mother was able to move them to the new capital. Things started to get out of hand though when Solthyr found out that his mother was basically broke and could no longer keep the house. Now grown, but still living with her, they got into a rather loud and hurtful argument and ended up with Solthyr's mother storming out the front door of the hovel they that moved into. That was the last time Solthyr had seen his mother, but it didn't get him down or cause him any ill-thought. Now, on his own, the high elf is ready to try and make a life for himself, and that starts with finding out more about how to use the simple skills he possesses in carving beads or little stone amulets into something more.

--Scenarios—
Please give us a roleplay response to both of these scenarios, at least one paragraph each:
A small riot breaks out in Barkamsted between Humans and Pact races. They're quickly gaining the attention of the guards as the situation escalates. Your character is somehow swept up into the crowd as the situation grows more dangerous, what do they do?
Solthyr looks around to find a place in which he can duck and dive for cover. Knowing he is downright awful at combat since he was never trained in any form, he knows the best thing he could do is get out of the way and let those capable of handling this situation do such. Although he has no plans to fight since he is inept to do such, he doesn't mind staying to watch what unfolds. Should the Pact soldiers seems to be gaining advantage and winning the fight against the humans, Solthyr will either decide to stay in the city and observe and learn what the pact forces do and how they act, while trying to keep a safe distance or go unnoticed of course, or he will attempt to escape should the Pact forces seem to be slaughtering every innocent they come by.
For whatever reason, your character finds themselves in an ancient tomb, the walls thick with brambles and foliage. From up ahead, you spy what appears to be a shambling mound of something. It pauses, quivers and moans. What do they do?
Solthyr narrows his gaze to the mound and stops moving. Holding his breath and trying to slow his breathing as low as he can, he awaits quietly for a few moments to see if anything peeks up from the mound. If nothing does seem to come up, his next course of action is to carefully take a very wide-angle and go around the mound, using bushes and shrubs is able to do such and see what lies behind it. However, if going around is not an option then he simply calls forth out to the mound and sees if someone is there. If a voice of anything that isn't friendly-sounding or in immediate pain calls out, like an ominous voice or evil laughter he is primed and ready to make a run for the hills and get himself to safety.
