posted a message on Repeating redstone clock with on/off switch using observer

So, Im not sure if this has been done before, but i was working on a slime based bouncy house in my realm and needed an on/off switch for my repeating redstone clock and while i cant remember why the space constraints required adding an observer in originally when i add a switch to the mix i got this. When the lever powers the redstone the signal stops repeating because there is no change for the observer to detect. When you turn it off the dying signal gets carried the observer detects the change and repeats it causing the redstone clock to repeat. Now, if this has been done before that's fine, I'm not wishing to take credit. I just know I dont see redstone clocks like this used very often and was excited to share since I didnt get it from a tutorial but accidentally discovered it. Pretty sure this could be otherwise used for other things needing repeating signals.

here are pictures with my slime bouncy house

posted a message on Survival Economy Bedrock Realm

Looking for a survival economy realm? Then you've come to the right place! We are pretty decently developed with shops and player bases. We do try to keep things organized, though, with all player bases a minimum of 500 blocks from the center of town and all shops located in town. So, we have all of our shops in one convenient loaction. We have about twenty players in realm, but would love to find some good players to join us! We are still usually at five people or less in realm since we have several school aged players in realm. We dont discriminate based on age only based on your ability to be respectful and follow the rules! You'll have to fill out a form you'll find on our discord under pinned messages and make sure you read the rules very thoroughly, but once you join i think you'll find that so long as you follow the rules and act decently to other players that you'll quickly become a valued member of the realm. We have pretty regular building contests with prizes as well as many other fun events as we are always looking to bring the community together for some good clean fun. When you first spawn in you'll find yourself in the main town area. This allows you to immediately check out what we have built and figure out where not to build right off the bat. Staff and admins are always happy to answer any questions and love getting to know each and every single one of our members. So what are you waiting for head on over to our discord to see about joining today! https://discord.gg/jQgrScE

posted a message on Variable Item Shop Using Redstone For Use As A Currency Exchange [Bedrock Realm]

I need help either finding a tutorial or something to help me make a variable item shop or n:1 or pay variable amount for 1 item shop for use as a currency exchange in my minecraft realm. Since my realm has many shops and an economy a redstone based design would be really useful. I have found a 4:1 and 2:1 item shops and I've seen several n:1 tutorials for bedrock but they usually use droppers and tend to end up not working even when the youtube video is from this year. Seems shops with anything other than 1:1 are hard to find tutorials for. The specific exchange rates I'm looking to do are:

270 iron nuggets for 1 diamond

30 iron bars for 1 diamond

27 gold nuggets for 1 diamond

3 gold bars for 1 diamond

    15 emeralds for 1 diamond

90 iron nuggets for 1 gold bar

10 iron bars for 1 gold bar

9 gold nuggets for 1 gold bar

5 emeralds for 1 gold bar

18 iron nuggets for 1 emerald

2 iron bars for 1 emerald

9 iron nuggets for 1 iron bar

As you can see I have a lot of different variables and so a single type of shop won't work unless it's a variable shop or n:1. I don't want to use command blocks for this. This youtube tutorial worked at first but then stopped after the realm reset so I have to assume the droppers are the problem or something. I know the revolving lights using repeaters I've used always stop revolving and just become lights that are all on whenever the world resets but was unable to reset this design in order to get it to work again.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

posted a message on Powered Rails with Buried redstone circuits

agreed with above you do redstone torch solid block with rail on it above. You can even have a nicely lit up rail if you use redstone lamps for the solid block.
