No, your still not getting it...here is an example...

Suppose I owned mc.com and I wanted to make money just from owning the name.

I could offer to rent people sub-domain names for $0.50 a year.

    I could rent you mc.goldcraft247.com as a sub-domain of my mc.com domain.

Anything before the first . (dot/period) is the domain name, anything after it is a sub-domain name.

How could I make money when I am only renting it to you for 50 cents?

Because I can make thousands of sub-domains for my mc.com domain, there is no limit as long as each name is unique.

All I need is a server to redirect your traffic from my site to yours which is easy, it just slows their connection time by another few seconds at worst.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As I said earlier if you absolutely have to have mc. in front of your server name you are going to have to find someone who owns one of the mc. domains (.com .net .org .biz) who will let you have a sub-domain of their domain.

I don't understand why it has to have the period in the name you can get mcgoldcraft.com right now, nobody owns it so it is available to be leased from a registration company.

Namecheap has either goldcraft247.com or goldcraft247.net available for $10.69 per year registration.

    http://www.namecheap....l=&type=single

When you register your domain name with a registrar service they handle propagating the name to all the main worldwide DNS servers. (this takes a while to spread a around the globe)

You tell them what IP you want the domain name to go to and they handle the rest, sadly the port still has to be typed in because DNS doesn't work that way. http= port 80 https= port 443 ftp= port 21 etc...

goldcraft247.com:21184 is not quite as instantly remembered is it?

For a DNS name the mc. is the domain name the goldcraft part is a sub-domain...

    So mc. com
    mc.net
    mc.org
    mc.biz
    mc.ly
mc.everything in the entire world belongs to someone else already. :(

You cannot get mc. except to possibly add your part as a sub-domain name by paying someone who already owns one. So you need to see who owns them, I suggest maybe using Whois or just trying the DNS addresses in google to see what pops up.

    Edit:
mc.org is for sale, bet they want a fortune for it too lol... :D

All and I do mean all of mc. extensions are taken already you can't get mc. You can get Mcgoldcraft though, tons of extensions left for that one...

If you want to look at buying (leasing) a DNS name then you need to go to someone who registers them, some affordable reliable sites are...

So you already have forge installed and working?

There is no such thing as 1.5.2 mine and blade. :( (see Edit below)

Mine and Blade: Battlegear was discontinued (the creator abandoned it) and was only ever updated to 1.2.5 it required Forge, the Player API mod and the Player render API mod to be installed first to work.
    http://www.minecraft...r-discontinued/

Mine and Blade: Commander is still in Alpha and is only updated to 1.4.7 it will not run in 1.5.2 it at least only requires Forge. The same guy made them both and he is busy at university and said he will not be updating for some time.
    http://www.minecraft...mander-alpha-7/

Many of the internet download sites just stick whatever the current version of the game is onto the older mod files. If you look you can find them advertising files on some that say they are for 1.6 and that hasn't even been released yet! They just want your site visit so they get paid from their ads and adf.ly they don't care if what you downloaded works or not. You should always get your mods here at the official thread for them. ;)

    EDIT:
Whoa, Oops...he did restart it Mine and Blade: Battlegear 2.0 [WIP] (Why no link at old thread? Or at the thread for his other mod? grrr...)
    http://www.minecraft...ghts-armour-03/

Require Forge version 1.5.2-7.8.0.704 or later and the installation instructions simply say to stick the .jar file in the mods folder.

I'm not sure I understand the question, are you using a custom launcher like magic launcher or something?

If your using the regular minecraft launcher then you open the archive and transfer the files and folders inside to wherever the instructions for the mod tell you to, you don't just put the whole archive in the mods folder.

We need more information about exactly what your trying to do and what you are using...

posted a message on i need help please read
Minecraft uses a very old version of the LWJGL (light weight java gaming library) files so that it can still support java 5 and powerPC users, if you aren't one of those then updating the files can help. The LWJGL files control the graphics and sound and also the control inputs, with newer computers (especially Macs) updating the files often fixes issues like yours.

There is a thread here on this that has an auto-installer and also manual instructions to update the files yourself...
    http://www.minecraft...o-update-lwjgl/

The Minecraft Wiki also has a page on this that includes manual update instructions...

    Hope this helps. :)

Proof? Only the fact that tens of thousands of people have downloaded them and never had any problem as long as they got them from the official threads started by the mod creator here or at Planet minecraft. If you download them from a third party site then yes, there is no telling what might have been done to the file by someone else before you downloaded it. But the files found here by known mod creators with a long record here are perfectly safe.

I have a hole in my world from a power surge that shut my computer down... :(
    I dont have any backups...
here is the world download: http://www.mediafire...#39;s_World.zip

There was a hole...well not actually a hole...there was a big chunk of taiga that was corrupted sitting in your lake for some reason. It only went down maybe 25 blocks but it was preventing the full chunk from loading. I removed it and everything looks fine now, let me know if I messed anything up. :)

Use 1.5.2 instead of playing in the snapshot?

Hopefully when 1.6 is done this will be controlled by the difficulty setting, so possibly it will not happen in "easy" but no one really knows yet. Still Jeb and Dinnerbone keep saying that the difficulty will now be more "scalable" so that is hopeful at least.

Using the new attribute system there may eventually be a way to disable this function using an NBT editor but no real hint of anything like that yet. :(

Members are not allowed to give out personal information about other members real names, addresses, phone numbers, emails, etc...it is in the rules.

The only way that you can contact the mod creator is to either post in his thread for the mod or click on his username in the first post of that thread to go to his profile page and then send him a private message via the boards mail system.

There is a forum for this type of request where the artistic type members who feel like being helpful look for projects...

    http://www.minecraftforum.net/forum/164-shopsrequests/

You will probably have more luck if you post a request there. :)

posted a message on SethBlings MCEdtit filters download problems.
When the download window pops up it has "open with notepad" selected by default, you need to change it to "save file" before clicking ok and you will save the file as a .py file that can be added to your MCEdit filters folder.

Google wha? You are not running a http server...

To check a specific port use a port testing service like this one, just enter your port number to check, it already has your IP... (the top test)
