posted a message on 6 Villages, Multi Biome, Dungeon, Abandoned Mineshafts, Ocean Temple, Etc Seed TU48

I think perhaps you meant to post this in the Xbox One forums, as we can't get these large maps on the Xbox 360 console yet, AFAIK. No doubt some of the locations will be similar on the 360, but anything greater than 430 blocks from x:0, z:0 is inaccessible to us here.

posted a message on How long will villagers stay unhappy if I kill their friends? [RESOLVED]

Thanks for the replies. I tried setting up a lava pit with trapdoors, but trying to get the villagers to go anywhere near it was next to impossible. I've trekked some of these villagers many miles between villages to herd them into my trading/breeding area, but they won't go a few short steps for me to the "death chamber". Seems they want to congregate near the village centre, where the doors are. Not keen on setting up the lava chamber too close to the village centre.

The second replly really helped, thanks. I'm now not so reluctant to wave my sword around and end villager lives. I'm trading regularly with the remainder, and everything seems okay. I have succeeded, by the way, and I now have a librarian who sells Mending I enchanted books. Furthermore, I decided to end the Iron Golem menace once and for all, so that made culling the villagers that much easier. Again, thanks for the advice.

posted a message on Tu 50 All Biomes Seed with a Cool Spawn

Hi, I'm a little confused about your question. In the thread title you mentioned TU50, and we're in the MCX360 forums, but at the time of posting we're only up to TU49. I believe the Xbox One currently has a TU50, but not the 360 just yet.

Also, you say "Just answer the polls", but it looks like you're asking for a seed. If we only answer your poll questions, you wouldn't get the necessaary info about which seed our reply relates to. You may want to re-think this request a bit.

I also don't understand what your attachments have to do with the request for the seed. You did mention that you "...want to customizes that world for a further tutorial world", but what does that have to do with skins? Sorry, I'm just trying to understand what it is you're actually asking for. BTW, I'm on the autism spectrum too.

posted a message on Tu50 or a bugfix(1.3 gigs of bugfixes then)

I see the wiki is now calling that one TU49, dated 28-Feb-17. I received another update today, 14-Mar-17, but still nothing in the "What's New" section. Must be just more bugfixes, and I assume that one will be TU50 for the Xbox 360.

posted a message on redstone problems one xbox one and 360

Hey Arnold, you've commented here in an old thread, about a problem that was resolved a long time ago now. As the OP said, this was an issue back in TU19, and we should now be running TU48, so whatever is causing your redstone problem now is unlikely to be the same problem raised by this thread. Hope that helps.

posted a message on How long will villagers stay unhappy if I kill their friends? [RESOLVED]

In my survival world, I'm trying to obtain some Mending I enchanted books. So far I have failed miserably at fishing one up, even with my Unbreaking III, Lure III, and Luck of the Sea III fishing rod. Finding them in loot chests has similarly proven elusive. The only other avenue open to me that I know of is buying them from librarian villagers. I currently have about 30 villagers in one area, where I'm using the height method to infinitely breed them. There are only 8 doors in my villager farm, but I have successfully bred 30 villagers from the initial stock of 16 taken from two villages. Of those I have about 8 librarians.

Well, "infinite" is the wrong word here, as there seems to be some maximum limit regardless of the number of houses I have, similar to the maximum number of captive chickens or other neutral mobs I can farm. I still don't have a librarian villager selling the Mending I enchanted book, so I'd like to have a cull of the villagers in my farm, and start breeding again in the hopes of gaining the enchanted book I'm looking for.

My question is though, what happens when I kill my villagers? I read somewhere that it lowers my reputation with the nearby villagers, but I don't recall if that is only a temporary thing, or if leaving the area for a while, as with pacifying an irate iron golem, will reset their happiness, and if so, how long do I need to leave for? Will throwing them food help? Should I just remove my breeding stock from the main farm first, so that they don't witness the impending massacre? If so, how far away do they need to be?

posted a message on Additional loot-carrying capacity: Backpack or Shulker Box

I have yet to see a donkey or a mule in my main Survival world, so transporting my loot from point A to point B is reliant on either instantaneous transmission via Ender chest (27 slots), and/or whatever I can fit in my inventory and hands (36 slots). Even so, mules are ornery beasts and require close supervision to ensure they arrive at the destination. Ideally, I'd like to see some alternate method become available to Xbox 360 users for transporting larger amounts of loot easily. Two such options available on other platforms are the Shulker Box (official) and third-party mods such as the Backpack Mod. Either of these being added to the MCX360 edition of the game would be great.

posted a message on How to name a villager in survival MCX360?

Thanks for explaining this. I don't have any baby villagers. I've raided two villages now and moved / coaxed the residents to come to my base, so I probably have well over the pop cap for the available "houses" in the vicinity. I wasn't too concerned about despawning, my desire to name the villagers was purely cosmetic, but it is something that should be theoretically possible. I may have to try the Nether Portal trick after all. Thanks again for your help.

posted a message on "Passing The Time" Achievement Not Unlocking

Ah, thanks for that. As I say above, I'm not prepared to delete and re-install Minecraft on my console just to get this achievement unlocked. I hope they come up with a proper fix for this in a future update.

posted a message on update problem

Are you playing in splitscreen mode? I notice that whenever someone joins my game locally in splitscreen, I have to tap the right trigger instead of just holding it as I would normally do. As soon as they leave, or stop doing anything in-game, my RT works fine again when I hold it down.

posted a message on Tu50 or a bugfix(1.3 gigs of bugfixes then)

I saw that come through as well, but no idea what it was. According to the wiki, we got TU48 on 31-Jan-17, but my Xbox shows the latest update was downloaded on 28-Feb-17, probably around the time that you noticed the update, Jordan. However, there doesn't appear to be anything different on my end, and the "What's New" in-game help screen still shows the TU48 updates, such as Chorus Flowers and Elytra. Nothing about what we got recently. A silent update/bugfix maybe? There isn't anything on the wiki about it.

Mind you, I don't play the online multiplayer combat minigames at all, so I wouldn't notice any changes to those, if there were any.

posted a message on "Passing The Time" Achievement Not Unlocking

I'm still having this problem with the "Passing the Time" achievement. I don't really want to delete my gamer profile or anything that drastic just to get this achievement. I have seen the message in-game saying that I gained the achievement, but it still doesn't show up in my gamer profile. I've successfully gained other achievements in my current survival world, but this one just won't happen.

posted a message on How to name a villager in survival MCX360?

I have a name tag and have applied a name to it on an anvil. Now how do I use it to name an adult villager?

According to the wiki, "(n)ame tags used on villagers will always name the villager instead of opening the trading interface." But this has not been my experience. Each time I try, even while crouching, activating a villager with a name tag in my hand still opens the villager's trading interface. I can only assume the wiki information here is for the PC version only, but there isn't any specific information for Xbox 360 Edition.

I am playing in survival mode, so I can't just name a villager spawn egg. I've seen the trick for standing in a nether portal, but I'd rather not bring all my villagers to my nearest nether portal, nor build one near them. Is there some other way to apply a name tag to a villager?

posted a message on Where is the BBCode list on the MinecraftForum?
Thanks for that Nimphina. I see there is a section on that page for "Image (aligned)" but there is no corresponding tag. I guess that is not possible here. Another common way to achieve it is with the [table] tags, putting the image in one cell and the text in another, but I see that the [table] tag isn't supported here either. Oh well, I guess my forum posts will have to be fairly plain then. Thanks anyway.
