    LOLZ! So YT likes to question whether or not we have commercial use rights for the content in the videos(or at least recently). Cannon Projectile Timer Tutorial got that message, so I put in all the crap for it(how the content is licensed, like to the license, etc.), still isn't monetized. Then when the next tut went up(Launch Platforms), it also got marked. I already wasn't having a great day, and was a little irritated that every video up to Projectile Timer had no issues at all(YT didn't even question them), and now suddenly the videos are having issues. So instead of giving links to the licenses(Minecraft ToU, intro license, etc.), I just said "I'm not going to bother with links because I know this will never be read anyways. On the off chance that it is read, the links can be found in the information I submitted for the previous video."

    I checked today, and the projectile timer tutorial is now cleared for monetization. Apparently complaining got me somewhere :lol: .


    I'm not actually upset with YT. They have to process a TON of these every day, so they need to prioritize. 30 views on one of our videos is really good right now(Omega excluded), so it isn't worth their time to read it(the only reason I bother with monetization right now is HOPEFULLY we'll hit a point where its worth bothering with, so I wont have to go back and do it for a bunch of videos all at once). And it isn't like they've rejected any videos, they just don't have time to even look.


    In related news, I finally made channel art for the channel, which I'll be using for the outros now as well.

    Alright, so is it safe to post without being drowned out by an arms race? :lol:

    That said, the last couple of mega-cannons won't work. MC only loads chunks as far as the render distance is set(slightly more than that if you are moving, but not much), so even if you are using optifine's Extreme render distance, you will be limited to ~1024 block wide cannons.

    Also, lets get some videos going! There have been plenty of new projects on this page that would be good for a video, and the videos don't have to be great quality as long as you can tell what is happening.

    Lol yeah. Next tutorial could be a while. I wasn't sure when I was going to get to it before, and considering how another series I was working on for my channel just got cut short(was recording in Tomb Raider, game froze, closed it and came back and the save file had been corrupted), that REALLY hurt my interest in tutorials right now.

    Edit: Literally like 10 seconds after I posted this I started TR(it just got steam trading cards), and was able to recover the corrupted save with the "last campsite save" rather than loading the save normally. So we'll see if I have time for a cannon tut this weekend.

    Alright! It's finally finished. That was a great learning experience.

    Everything in this map is 100% made by me and me alone, with the exception of the:
    The giant arena I downloaded and ported in, in the end. That was 0% my work

    This was only an experiment to test the best method of creating skylands maps, and to see if worldpainter could be used on skylands maps. But since I did put a bit of effort into the map, I guess I might as well spread it out instead of deleting it with all the other projects.

    The ore distribution is not even remotely simular to vanilla. Instead everything is rock, except key tactical sections of various islands. These have massive veins of resources. Find the veins and find the ores.

    Trust me, there is plenty to go around. Are you a bad enough dude to actually survive and thrive in a floating enviorment?

    World painter did not do the water perfectly. There are some areas where the water is a bit strange. This was only a test so I didn't bother to go back in and fix it, but I just wanted to let everyone know that I know about the water before they bring it up.
    Looks nice! I changed your tag to Mapping, and removed a bunch of inactive people from the list.


    No idea when I'll get around to finishing the next video, or if I ever will. Its a lot of work for only 20 views.

    That picture is way too zoomed out for me to really be able to make out anything. I can see redstone, but thats about it. Take some up close pictures and explain what they are.
