Jimmy, from what I've read it seems the only change was adding the jungle biome, and that biome is what ruins the seed for me. I think if I simply remove the jungle biome the results will be the same as generating that world in 1.1, with maybe very slight differences.
I suppose simply removing it will not be hard, plus I can edit the minecraft source code since forge didn't have the gradle thingy back then.
I of course don't make this mod public, it's just for me and my brother. Going to try to do it soon!
I want to make a mod (this will be my first mod) for 1.2.5 that makes it use the terrain/biome generator from 1.1. Can anyone tell me is it possible (I assume yes) and how hard is it to make?
I dont know if its a bug or a faulty config (i didnt change any from default).
The "Unstable Ice Cores" inside the Aurora Tower in the Twilight forest cause my Server to crash every time one of them attempts to explode.
I am using the Direwolf20 modpack.
The aether II still on 1.6.4 version of minecraft . So much time to wait. After 2 years, i began to think the aether will never be sync with current release of minecraft and others mods.I know it is a huge work to do this mod. But i dont understand why it is impossible to release a current version every 6 months. I think it will be hard to upgrade aether II to 1.7.2/1.7.10 (becauses of 1.7 changes ).
It is hard to choice between mod like Aether II and Thaumcraft 4. .
I have test (curiosity) 1.6.4 version of new aether. It is pretty cool and awesome mechanic gameplay are present. hoppefully one day others mods will work with aether content.
Blame Mojang for breaking mods with those updates.
Also, there's TC4 for 1.6.4, why would you need to choose something? The maximum you lose is the new TC content in 1.7, if there's any at all.
Just installed 1.6.4, dunno about the blocks not dropping problem that ppl have, but I don't get any mobs spawning, neither I can spawn them manually, not even with CustomNPC (!!!)
Anyway I won't say I hope for you to release a fixed 1.6 version soon but I hope that you DO release it, in time
Today when I logged on my 1.6.4 worlds, the minimap suddenly dissapeared, and I can't toggle large map either. (NOT an empty circle, just dissapeared completely)
I've checked the settings more than once to ensure everything is enabled, and I can open Rei's menu with "M"
Also, I've tried deleting Rei's and putting up Zan's. Zan's doesn't seem to work at all, can't even open a menu...

I have the problem that the aether mobs dont spawn. Mo' creatures are in the normal world. But no aether creatures in the aether.
Except the Dungeon mobs.
I'm not sure if you can put the latest MoC 1.6.4 into a 1.6.2 MC, you should be able to, anyway, if you can, do it but delete custom mob spawner. CMS breaks EVERYTHING that relates to mob spawning... &I don't recommend using any spawner mods at all, most of them break the spawning behaviour if you have mods.

Jets, are mystcraft villagers different or did the dev just put mystcraft items in original villagers? If the first one, they should appear, maybe you just had bad luck in a village where they didn't. If it's the latter, it should work.
Same thing actually had happened to my daughter, I sent her on hunting and she immediatly dissapeared. I gave myself flying ability and scouted everything around my house but didn't find her, whistle didn't work either and I never got any message that she died, nor I got a tombstone

I have many custom villagers (forestry beekeper/apiarist, ThaumC villager and witchery "witch" villager) and it doesn't interfere except that they aren't affected by the mod. I also had TinkerC and deleted it afterwards, but I don't remember if I had MCA at that time.
The ONLY other mods of yours are TC, Natura and CNPCS?
First of all, find zombie villagers.
Then, get a splash potion of weakness, and a ordinary golden apple.
Cure the zombie villager by splashing it with the potion, giving it the apple, then waiting.
You now have villagers to populate your village.
Too bad that 80% of my cured villagers are from other mods
