My name is Erick Cha (a.k.a Asianricewaffle) and I am currently hosting a 24/7, 1.6.4 Bukkit server called VentrueCraft. It is currently in development and although it is up, I have white-listed it to staff only.
We have been making significant progress considering we are a small staff currently with only about four members including me.
Meet The Staff
Zach "TheROOsterz" (Head Dev/Co-Owner)- He is in charge of handling the
server console while I am away and is
the person to go to when asking about
anything plugin related.
Tahsin "TahsinRahman" (Server Manager)- Is in charge of everything player related
and keeps an eye on the staff while I am away.
Avery "avery_stiver14" (Head Builder/Admin)- A talented builder that helps Tahsin keep the staff and players behaved and is also in charge of
the Creative world and major building projects.
This is my current staff roster and although we have been expecting our server to open to players in about a couple of weeks at this rate, I'd like for it to open sooner. So right now I am currently looking for a few extra staff members to join our team.

To apply for developer, you must have a good knowledge on setting up plugins and plugin commands. You must also be mature and active.
To apply for server manager you have to have held a high position in staff and have held it for an amount of time. Also you must have strong communication and leadership skills. Same thing as a developer, you must also have a good knowledge on plugins and must be mature and active.

I was promoted by the owner of Pancaketekkit for being very loyal, helpful and friendly to new members by greeting them and asking if they need any help, and i also helped him from time to time with any testing with new plugins or a new map. I was recruited as a mod by the owner of Bladecraft because i already knew him from another server and he knew that i could be very reliable to player-based relations.
Head-Mod - Once on Titancraft
I joined this server when it was in beta and it was one of the best servers i staffed for in awhile. It had two owners, nvitethedark and thcottie, that knew what they were doing and were very experienced and dedicated to managing the server. I also enjoyed working with all the staff since they were one of the friendliest I've worked with. I basically just managed all the mods on the server to get to know them, make sure they were working properly, occasionally remove some or recruit some new people. I also was in charge of any player suggestions/questions to see what they needed or what they wanted added to the server.
Skills: I am a very friendly and open staff member and player but will have to get to know everyone first. In any kind of situation i am very calm and will listen to every side of an argument or dispute and will not make any rash choices or accusations before i make a decision. If a person does wrong, I normally don't hold grudges towards them depending on the harshness of their actions. I was am also very good towards the player relations area.
Do i know how to use factions plugins? Im going to be honest, i haven't been on a minecraft server for about six months till about a week ago so I might need to brush up a bit but I am a fast learner.
If there is a person potentially hacking, what will I do? if this scenario happens, i would normally ask them straightforward if they are trying to hack the server or not. I would listen to the person's excuse and if it seems plausible, I would let them off with a warning but if it happens again, i would not be as lenient. if it doesn't seem to fit together or he's not making any excuse at all, i would temporarily ban him for a day or so to warn him not to do it again. If this happens a second time, I would ban him for a week and if he would wish to come back, he would have to appeal to someone higher up in staff. if this happens for the third and last time, i would ban him permanently, let a manager know about this, and I would leave it to the manager to decide if he should be let back in eventually.

Why I want to be staff? To be honest, I haven't touched minecraft for about six months until about a couple weeks ago so I may be a bit rusty but all these servers i've joined have all been a great experience to have and I'd like to join a nice, stable server again. I would be very mature and responsible since i know that if I'm an immature, irresponsible jerk-off that does nothing, it would not get me any staff positions anywhere. i am also extremely experienced with player relations so I can even handle the worst types of situations very well.
Have I played Gmod? Yes I still do but it's mostly just fooling around with buddies or playing prophunt haha.
