I like it, but is there a way to change the photo in the background? It looks nice, but it looks a little empty to me. Other than that, it looks good!
I think minimalism is the whole point
But I'm pretty sure you can change it by replacing the image with another one of the same size. Just open the zip and look for it.
I could do that, but that would most likely not end up with a good result, as I would have to cut out the smooth stone texture and then trying to clean the edges of what I cut out just to make it fit into the original JohnSmith stone texture.
In short, it makes much more sense to use the PSD's if they're available.
Trust me, it's really easy. If you use a program like "the gimp", which is free, you just select the area of what you want to change and you can't mess up with something else.
Being the texture kinda small you can't really select the wrong area, you can clearly see the selection tool taking the pixels.
So, I made a minecraft sword, it's life size, I mean you can actually wield it (I wouldn't recommand using it tho because wielding it isn't really comfortable).
It's made with wood which I cut using a jigsaw.
Then I had to sandpaper it and plaster and, again, sandpaper it.
Last step was obviously painting.
I know the colors aren't exactly the same but I couldn't find the right ones, so I had to mix what I found, I don't dislike the final result tho.
I'm sorry, I must really look dumb but... What is this new feature about redstone repeaters?
Could anyone give me an example? Anyone already uploaded a video showing it?
Thanks in advance.
This sure is a big improvement, but it makes my actual map useless. I live in a lonely island very far away from everything. I'd have to walk in the nether for a long time in order to get to a swamp biome, instead with the old system I had a pretty neat slime farm.
Beside... I really enjoyed making slime farms.
I think they could have left both systems, at least for a while, just not to make farms 100% useless and give time to players to get a new map instead of, basically, forcing people like me to make a new one already.
Basically this update makes me both, happy for the big improvement and slightly pissed off because of the removal of something I used to like.
Ok you had a good point there. I tried to do so. blocks doesn't regenerate if I replace them with "air" instead of deleting chunks.
The problem is: MCEDIT doesn't have a "invert selection", so I can't just select something, invert and remove what I don't want.
Hey everyone,
the title is kinda self explanatory, I was wondering how to delete every single block on a minecraft map and avoid regeneration of chunks, like in the skyblock map.
I tried with mcedit, it delete everything but a selected chunk/chunks, and in game said chunks just regenerate. how do I prevent that? What should i use?
I tried Hack & Slash, but I didn't really like it. Legend of Notch looks pretty awesome tho! Not what I had in mind so I probably won't use it in the LP channel but I'm totally playing it by myself! Thanks for sharing Shirley
