    The 1.12.1 version still loads for 1.12.2, but only allows brightness changes, doesn't seem to allow XRay.

    Hey everyone - I just wanted post real quickly and let everyone know I have not abandoned this project and am currently working on an update. No release date has been set. It will officially support 1.11.2 as well as be a lot more stable that previous versions. I'm planning on separating the XRay, Coordinates, and Fly mods so I can update each individually to get updates out faster, as well as give you guys a choice of which mods you want rather than bundling them all together. That way if someone already has a coordinates mod they like, they aren't forced to install mine along with XRay. Likewise, if they want to use my coordinates without being forced to install XRay, they can.


    I'd like to also apologize for my absence, I used to be a lot more active. School and life got in the way and I had very little time to work on my mod. However, I want everyone to know that I am committed to putting out an update soon and continuing to support it. As soon as I'm comfortable putting a beta release out for you guys to try I will!

    When you separate out the coordinates mod, would you be able to add the option to show facing angle, especially the vertical angle? It helps a ton while using the Elytra.

    I hope real life is going well, and please take your time, there is no pressure. I greatly appreciate all your work and respect that you have other priorities.

    So far XRay-48.jar is working great for me on 1.11.2, thank you!


    Just a few questions/suggestions:

    • Is there a reason you stopped posting the dates in your changelog after 2015-08-07?
    • It would be helpful if you linked to this thread on your bug report page.
    • Is there a reason you don't list your mod on the official LiteLoader mods page?

    I've actually figured out how to change the render style (and had already decided to have it as a transparent full block overlay on top) and even got transparency working so you can still see where you're going. What's got me stuck currently is having the intensity of the overlay as a slider option, and I've not yet looked at render distance

    It'd be a little tricky for me to figure out how to do this, but I could certainly try. As far as the render distance, I can't make any guarantees, but I will warn you that if I succeed at making that a setting, it will most likely destroy your FPS. Any changes won't be out any time soon, since I forgot my coding laptop when I came to visit family for the holidays.


    Perhaps just render a filled square instead of lines?

    My FPS runs pretty high, so I feel like I could tweak the render setting to be out a bit farther. But I can understand how this would affect others. It would certainly need to be a setting and keep things as they are as the default.

    The Curse link for http://www.liteloader.com/mod/voxelmap is incorrect and needs to be updated. The VoxelMap mod has been updated to 1.11.2 as well. Thanks for all your hard work!

    This is a super helpful mod. Any chance to get an option for a square overlay instead of an X? Sometimes the X can be hard to see. Perhaps there could also be an option to increase the render distance?
