A better way to find your system specs is to open the Run dialog box and type in "dxdiag" (without quotes), then you can also see what kind of GPU you have; I suspect that you have an integrated GPU (no separate graphics card). You can also find out by pressing F3 in-game, which will show your CPU and GPU in the upper-right, as well as Java and OpenGL version (Java should be 64 bit if you have a 64 bit OS):
Note that if you have both an integrated and dedicated GPU Minecraft often uses the integrated GPU and this is a common cause of poor performance on an otherwise high-end computer. Your limited specs do not look high-end though; they recommend a 2.8 GHz i3 while yours is only 2.4 GHz, but it should be able to run the game at lower settings (minimum requirements say 2.6 GHz but for a Pentium D or Athlon 64, which are older and less efficient CPUs).
