    posted a message on problem with registering modded entities

    so i decided to make a class so that my modded entities will get recognized by the game, as shown here:

    package borgydudeman.jurassicworldreborn.init;

    import java.util.ArrayList;
    import java.util.List;

    import borgydudeman.jurassicworldreborn.entities.EntityDart;

    import net.minecraft.entity.Entity;

    public class ModEntities {
    	public static final List<Entity> ENTITIES = new ArrayList<Entity>();

    	public static final Entity Tranq_Dart = new EntityDart("Tranq_Dart");
    }

    when i tried this however, i ended up getting the error "Cannot convert from EntityDart to Entity". any luck in dealing with this? thanks

    What is in your Common Proxy Class?

    welp, nevermind. i just realized that it was because i specified a non-existent package in the reference class, but thanks for helping out i guess

    It's not your java version. The error is in Jurassic World Reborn, specifically the ClientProxy (cannot find the class). jwreborn version 0.1.0 was unloaded, but errored (UE).

    hmm, can you tell me like the problem here in the Main and ClientProxy classes i have here then

    package borgydudeman.jurassicworldreborn.proxy;

    public class ClientProxy extends CommonProxy{

    }

     package borgydudeman.jurassicworldreborn;

    import borgydudeman.jurassicworldreborn.proxy.CommonProxy;
    import borgydudeman.jurassicworldreborn.util.Reference;

    import net.minecraftforge.fml.common.Mod;
    import net.minecraftforge.fml.common.Mod.EventHandler;
    import net.minecraftforge.fml.common.Mod.Instance;
    import net.minecraftforge.fml.common.SidedProxy;
    import net.minecraftforge.fml.common.event.FMLInitializationEvent;
    import net.minecraftforge.fml.common.event.FMLPostInitializationEvent;
    import net.minecraftforge.fml.common.event.FMLPreInitializationEvent;

    @Mod(modid = Reference.MOD_ID, name = Reference.NAME, version = Reference.VERSION)
    public class Main {
     @Instance
     public static Main instance;

     @SidedProxy(clientSide = Reference.CLIENT_PROXY_CLASS, serverSide = Reference.COMMON_PROXY_CLASS)
     public static CommonProxy proxy;

     @EventHandler
     public static void PreInit(FMLPreInitializationEvent event) {

     }

     @EventHandler
     public static void init(FMLInitializationEvent event) {

     }

     @EventHandler
     public static void PostInit(FMLPostInitializationEvent event) {

     }
    }

    posted a message on looking for bedrock edition modelers and animators

    hello there. i am currently developing an addon for minecraft bedrock edition called "prehistoric rift", with the goal of adding prehistoric creatures and changing up the gameplay. ive been looking for a modeler/animator for quite a while to help out in making the addon.

    stuff that i hope you have include

    • experience in making entities with custom animations and animation controllers
    • specializes in animals

    the role is going to be long-term by the way. anyways, thanks for reading. if you have any interest then dm me here or on discord/xbox. kthxbye

    posted a message on Making add ons for new ps4 bedrock

    1. the documentation for the minecraft api comes with the behavior pack template provided by mojang on their page for addons. If you don't want it to fill up your disk space theres https://bedrock.dev/

    2. json

    3. github is an option, but MCPEDL is highly recommended so that it gets more attention
