    yeah so am i, thats the main reason i said people would be offended, you don't know religious discrimination until you've seen my family.

    minecraftian religions?? that would be nice, a church of people praying to notch with stain glass photos (in this case just plain colored blocks) and some nutjob anarchists praying to ghast's to kill everyone. like i said i really like this idea.

    it'd be fun if the religion of a town would determine the blueprints they use and how their npcs look but that overcomplicates the whole idea.

    okay, not trying to control this or anything, but i think you should dump the other ideas (besides the instruments and idea 4. and 6. and 1.) and join the ones in the parentheses together to form one monster colony thread. of course if you do take my advice, anyone reading this comment in the future after you edited would think i'm crazy.

    ooooh, is this topic being revived?!?eleven. i really did enjoy it when it came out.

    locklear: have you considered putting this up as a request in mapping and modding? im sure that a bored modder would take his time to make this weapon considering its simplicity compared to other mods.

    hmmm, religions? im torn between wanting this mod to not have any offensive content. and the way that religions could affect towns

    on the plus side, having the same religion could facilitate an alliance, or having different religions could make war much easier, not even requiring you to kill anyone. and it would add an interesting side to npc personality to see all your npc's gather out in a campfire and sacrifice a pig in a pool of lava, or some hostile tribes sacrifice your colonist in a fiery cage.

    and it wold add diversity to the monk, some of the monks in one religion would build gothic cathedrals while others could build high towers, and some would honor the FLYING SPAGHETTI MONSTER!!! (would be extremely idiotic, but funny nonetheless) but seriously this idea could be an interesting one that could add a lot of diversity to the mod

    BUT!!!! it could be offensive to some, and even if this idea is approved it wouldn't be available until beta OVER 9000!!!! (sorry for the bad joke, couldn't resist)

    you weren't ignored, you asked if you could help and unfortunately the only help that can be taken at the moment is if you can code.

    i'm guessing that all colonies would start neutral except for certain specially made colonies. and negotiations?? you bring up a good point (unless if someone already discussed that in which case i'll look like an idiot)

    im guessing you could have something put up in the npc interaction interface that is the only thing extra piece that this mod would include.

    you could have options to offer or demand tribute by that i mean that if you were being severely hurt by an enemy colony you could offer them a 1000 coins, your relationship with them would immediately go to neutral, or if you had destroyed a colonies defenses, but the economic structure remained intact you could demand that they give you certain resources. although that would require for an enemy npc colony to "realize" that they are being destroyed. which could lead to complications. and i am against adding an extra npc such as a "diplomat" i prefer that you could just walk up to ANY enemy npc (except soldiers [because they would kill you {unless if you were to trap them}]) and open the interaction interface

    well thats my opinion anyway. if anyone wants to expand on the idea be my guest.

    lysho, wouldn't it be easier to use imaginary bonemeal? just apply to an imaginary seed and BAM!!! you got trees branches and leaves.

    ok then now seriously. first priority is suppose to be the villagers. the horses, oxen, cows, pigs. HELL chickens. those are for later and their only use is in the trading part of villages which won't be seen for quite some time. what we need right now is either a third party program like the MC mob maker, or a modder with decent experience. i think if we are to ask anyone for help, it should be Ogresean: creator of the builders mod. or Lacozzini: creator of minecolony mod. because those mods actually would be helpful for the entire project and for developing cities. but horses are just... unnecessary at this point in development.

    wow. he really said he would sue? thats just plain... i don't even know how to describe it.

    well he can't sue us if we write the code for the horse ourselves. or at least thats what i believe. (i could be wrong)

    on another topic, what if for just pushing it we made it so that the chest connects to your back like you are pulling it and it would make you slower except if you are on the road.

    you know, just something not related to the mod, lysho you are by far the best... for lack of a better word: cheerleader (no i don't mean skinny girl who gets pregnant on MTV.) i mean that you are one of the best motivational people I've met, if you hadn't come in at whackjobs list then nath99, radetzky, animerril, and me (probably) wouldn't give a sh*t about this mod, i should be studying my algebra right now, instead i'm learning Java. seriously thank you for having driven this idea this far.

    reproduction? races?? interracial breeding??? jk on the last one, but seriously if alpha 1.0 ever comes out the only important thing would be having a village of people who might all LOOK the same, if we add races then we will make it in beta 500.0 and it would be biome wise so that any npc who could go to your colony will look the same, and no npc may leave the biome they were spawned in.
