'Well, that could be countered easily by limiting the maximum number of objects allowed into the mob. Or, you could assign an amount to each mob/item. When the maximum number is reached, no more objects can be added.'
i didn't mean to say that, what i meant was that notch would, by my calculations (i could be wrong) have to design and program 256 different mobs that would have different appearances and stats and they would have to be able to absorb more abilities and change, the problem wouldn't be the amount of object it absorbs but the amount of time it would take to design each mob that results from the absorption of the item.

Jan 30, 2011this seems like a great mob, but if this were to be made notch would take a century and a half to finish it, there are 16 different objects in your list. can you imagine every one of the different characteristics it could acquire at any one time just by walking around, in any case it would need less combinations.Posted in: Suggestions
love the idea of the mob, but in a practical sense it seems impossible.

Jan 28, 2011you had me at the paper mario reference, too bad im a #2Posted in: Suggestions
serious now, i would love the idea of more complex foods, but they would need to be different than the food we have now, for example since you already used paper mario as a reference, in that game you could cook special hallucinogenic mushrooms with different effects such as:
1. electricity shock
3. magical transformations
4. viagra and etc
not to say that this should be implemented because thats overpowering, but that different food types should give your character different abilities that wore off after lets say.....a day, not really sure what though.
anyhow take this
