When i first found diamonds I was VERY confused. I had to look up what they were before doing anything to it. "Uhhh... What's blue ore?"

I like them... Just not as much as I like Snow Biomes so I don't build in them much.

You say Minecraft lost it's touch, I just call you lazy. Finding a server that fits you requires some time and effort. You can avoid the annoying community by finding the right server. Stop wasting time posting and spend it searching for the server that fits you. It took me months to find a server I liked... but now I have been on that server for months. That's just how it goes.

Clear cache and cookies and try again. Also make sure your computer isn't running through a proxy, just in case somethings is going crazy. My friend's SC2 wouldn't auto-download updates because his computer was running through a proxy (who knows how that happened because I didn't set it...). Also, try another browser such as Chrome or Firefox.

I'm excited for this new AI guy to come in and actually create a purpose for NPC Villages.

What do I hope for, smarter Stronghold/Nether Fortress/Abandoned Mineshafts Generation. Seeing floating pieces of a Mineshaft sitting in a giant opening in a cave is kind of a facepalm situation for me, as well as seeing a Nether Fortress where half of it is contained within Netherrack. But it's not that big of a deal.

Oh god the LAST thing this game needs is another excuse for 14 year olds to spam up chat with crap like the following...

"OMGZ I SOOO DRUNK RITE NOW GUYZ!!!"

...Any adult kinda stuff will and should remain a mod/plugin.

I have friends that don't get Minecraft. They ask me "What do you do in that game?"... I respond with the usual "Well kinda whatever you want. You can go and kill a bunch of Monsters or you can build something monstrous or almost anything. It's more of a game where you set your own goals and reach them."...... "Oh..."

For some people there has to be an obvious goal in the game. It's boring to them if they set their own goal. Not saying that Minecraft's style is better. Minecraft just isn't for some people. Some people like to have goals set by other people and they have the challenge of meeting those goals.

Minecraft is for people with more of a child-like imagination.

A game doesn't stop being Indie because it's successful.

I completely agree and I play that way too. The server I play on (Noobcraft) has a currency system but I don't use it. I walked 7000 blocks from spawn and started building. Every block I place, I gather.
