Endermen sounds much more ominous, even if it is just a shortened version of Slendermen (isn't that where the inspiration for them comes from, anways?).

Given the choice, I would much rather Notch change the name of the Farlands to The End than change the name of the new mob from Endermen to Farlanders.

That's only a bandage for the problem, not a solution.

I also forgot to mention that the map doesn't show the player's location marker. Could be intentional, but I doubt it.

I've found this to be true for all gloves, and can render maps unusable from throwing the color scheme off.
