I've spent the last few days playing lots of Minecraft and getting caught up on everything. It looks like as of 1.8, Minecraft began using multi-texturing in several places where it didn't before. There have also been A LOT of other changes since 1.8. This means updating to anything past 1.8 would probably take a bit more work than just updating the obfuscation mapping (This is probably why there are no unofficial releases past 1.7.3.). I'm still just not interested in putting more time into the current version of the project.
A few people are bringing up MCP in this topic and in private messages. I've been using MCP for a long time, and it's certainly very helpful, but it's not quite the solution I need. However, I'll probably go ahead and get started on the re-write (which will be Shaders 2.0) when MCP is updated for 1.0. I'm not promising anything though, so don't get your hopes too high.
For now, I'm just going to be tinkering with creating cool fire effects in Minecraft. :smile.gif: I'll let you guys know if I come up with anything interesting.
bug name: Chickens not showing hearts
bug: when i feed chickens wheat I get no hearts, I do get hearts with pig, cows, and sheep just not chickens. They do mate and produce a baby chicken.
System: windows vista, premium 32x2 or 64 bit depends on where you look.

Just this morning i updated minecraft i played for about 30 minutes then went to school. I came back and now when i try to sign in it says Oops, unknown username or password. This have never happened to me. Ive pirated the game. ive tried everything. Unistalling and re-installing changing my password. Even trying to sign in at a friends house. I am sure that no one is on my account because ive never given away my password. Please help ive had the game for about 3 months. I really just want to play again.

I think you should actually BUY the game! That would fix your cheapness I don't know about that glitch though. xD
One day a great miner was born in a terrible time. The Alpha ages they called it. The new world that there master Notch had made had spawned 2 people. Herobrine and steve. Their mothers died when they were born due to enemies. Greifers. These greifers had destroyed the holy land that the men had made. 500 died. The newly spawned person Herobrine, Controlled the greifers. At this time herobrine didn't know that the creator Notch would make the land more wide and have chances to kill each other and cause real damage.
ALPHA SURVIVAL they called it, When Herobrine heard it he was excited. Steve was excited too. He studied for days how to craft. He found out he could mine blocks with picks. But it took longer. Herobrine wasn't glad about that though. When the creator Notch released this. the 700-2000 people on the planet earth when crazy. Then.... Thats when Steve met Herobrine.

You realize 1.6 was a major bug fix that patched over 100? So this isn't a first and the game is still in beta their is meant be bugs. Stupid trolls are stupid.
