Forge 1.7.10 - 10.13.4.1614 now using OptiFine_1.7.10_HD_U_E7. Can confirm the camera bone is for first-person If your getting models from DeviantArt for example they don't have the bones for all the features so you have to copy them over. I'll see about getting a tutorial up for anyone who doesn't know how or thinks it's really complicated. It really only takes a few minutes with possibly some minor tweaking afterwards to get your positioning just right.
Give me some time to get all the tools setup again and I'll poke around, maybe finally get to that tutorial on transferring the bones I was going to YEARS ago.
Edit: https://imgur.com/a/GL2g8Eu Dug through and found someof my old files But to find the specific bones I might have to dig through A LOT of MMD versions my current one wouldn't give me info on the bones for sakuya. This model had none of the bones needed for tools and first person till I copied them from sakuya.
I'll do some more digging and see if I get the specifics figured out.
Edit Edit: This is WITH OptiFine_1.7.10_HD_U_D8 might give the latest version a test run later as well.
Just got back into this mod seems I have to make some changes with my old models to get 1st person working again. Has anyone heard anything from the author? I tried to contact them on twitter but didn't get anything back.
I have been cranking out classic style models lately after re-building the SD40(the original was not a true SD40 but rather closer to an SD40-2) I have patched up its clipping geometry and made it smoother looking all around, I have also made a proper SD40-2. The SD70 has also gotten a model cleanup and has a much better hood! Next I will be doing the GP40-2 and many many more seriously if we get textures on all these expect at least 15 trains or more in the next update.
In other news I am also re-doing the other TC classic diesel trains since a few are not accurate to their real world counterpart or don't meet the quality of the rest of the classic trains. I WILL be doing a F40ph(complete with cabbage) and I may also get enough time between all these re-works to make a F7 and F3 to the classic style that I know many have wanted. If you aren't already you should join our discord for the majority of content updates/previews since I am much more active there!
XD funny thing is its better than the old rails significantly but yeah its just temp. On another note would anyone be interested in some https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/jurassicraft2 Rollingstock? hauling Dinos around in some custom stockcars.
I'm having an issue... I just updated from an old version of Custom Steves. I never took off the MMD model that I had on before though, I don't have it in the new version either. Whenever I try to change my model, open my inv, or go into F5, I crash.
Could someone please help?
I think there should be a customsteve.txt somewhere that stores data for the mod delete it and then try again
Part of the problem, I don't bother asking anyone to backport mods. Also Traincraft got ported from 1.6.4 to 1.7.10, and is currently being re-written for 1.7.10 where it will be ported to newer versions. Also 1.7.10 has the 2nd largest playerbase at the moment other than 1.9. I think you need to just chill and not be so hostile over a simple question or two.
I run a 1.7.10 server with custom modpack am working on another 1.7.10 modpack and server and I am the lead artist for Traincraft which atm is on 1.7.10 no reason to let it go I think.

Not sure why you say optifine didn't work with the 1.7.10 version I had no issues. Once I added first person bones to my models.
