I've been trying to play newer vesions of minecraft lately, (1.16.2, new snapshots) but every time I do it gets stuck on "Saving world". This used to happen to me on my iMac Mid-2011 21.5" (i5, 4gb 133mhz DDR3), but I fixed it by using optifine, but the problem is its happening again on my new computer that I just built (i5 10400f, 16gb 3200mhz DDR4 @ 2400mhz, msi b460m mortar, EVGA 670 FTW, 240gb old hard drive) why does this happen? It always says saving world whenever I try to join a server or create / open a new world. I've downloaded all drivers, uninstalled all old drivers, and used optifine, but none of it seems to work. Why doesn't stock Java work on my computers?? Please help me!!! I'm stuck playing 1.8.9 and I want to try out shaders with the new versions!! Thanks!
