Good point. But phoenixes should at least spawn very rarely in the Nether, to make it so that finding a Phoenix is an exciting/terrifying experience for players. I also rolled around an idea where the player can transform a Phoenix into an even stronger creature called an Astral Phoenix. Pretty much, once you've raised and fed your Phoenix into adulthood through feeding it and providing it with plenty of heat, you'll have the opportunity to kill a Wither boss and feed a Nether Star to your Phoenix. The next time your Phoenix mount is killed, it will be resurrected as a Astral Phoenix chick.
While a normal Phoenix chick demands very little food (maybe gunpowder? :D) but lots of heat, Astral Phoenix chick are a lot more difficult to raise, demanding expensive materials such as Fire Charges and Blaze Rods, and require much more heat at a young age. When fully grown up, though, Astral Phoenixes could be something along the lines of the strongest mounts in the mod, having bodies burning with astral blue flames. However, Astral Phoenixes could have a massive drawback; if killed, an Astral Phoenix will not resurrect, and will instead pass onto the Spirit Realm to join it's Phoenix kin. So pretty much, if your awesome Astral Phoenix dies, it dies for good.
I'm really liking this mod! The weapon models are gorgeous and the direction the mod is going is really fantastic. Do you intend to continue adding new weapons to this mod? Because regardless, I'm going to enjoy this mod a lot
Since you plan on adding mobs for each of the current biomes in minecraft, perhaps you could also add unique mobs to some of the structures within minecraft as well. Perhaps mobs that spawn within abandoned mineshafts, nether fortresses, woodland mansions (1.11 update), and maybe you could make a particularly powerful mob that spawns within the Ice Plain Spike biome
So I return with some new ideas for the future of this mod. And yes, they will be better than my Progress Bar idea XD
So firstly, after watching a video talking about the new features that would come with update 1.11 to Minecraft, I saw that the devs were going to add treasure maps that could be bought from cartographers. From seeing this, I remembered that Dragon Lairs in this mod would contain lots of treasure and valuables, in which are being guarded by the Dragons. And that was where I had my first idea: What if as a future implementation in a later update, Treasure Maps could have a chance to show the location of a single Dragon's Lair. The reason I say the location of a single Dragon's Lair is so that players wont use the treasure maps to cheat their way into finding every Dragon's Lair in their world, and maybe it could be made so that Dragon Lairs only have a small chance of being shown on a treasure map, to make them feel more exciting to search for.
Alright, with my first idea out of the way, i'd like to present my second idea for a potential mob that could be implemented! Introducing...

~The Phoenix~
Being of Greek mythology, the Phoenix is a flaming, long-lived bird that can be cyclically regenerated or reborn upon death. A powerful and magnificent creature associated with the Sun, a phoenix will burst into a show of flames and combustion upon death, in which a new phoenix obtains new life by arising from the ashes of its predecessor. Perhaps a single phoenix could spawn within a world, in which they can be found guarding their nests within the Nether. If the player gets too close to it's nest, the phoenix will attack the player, using a volley of different flame attacks. If the player succeeds in killing the phoenix, a new phoenix could spawn in the nest it was guarding. However, this new, reborn phoenix is a chick, and is about the size of a chicken.
The player could then be able to tame the chick, in which it will assume the player as it's mother. As for raising a phoenix chick, while it does not demand as much food as raising a dragon does, the chick must be kept warm at all times in order for it to grow. Torches, fire, lava, a phoenix chick need as much heat as possible in order for it to grow and mature. Once it reaches adulthood, though, it will begin generating flames from it's own body, and will no long require the player to keep it warm. At this point, the newly grown phoenix can be mounted by the player, in which the mystic flames that cover it's body will allow the player to mount it. The player should also be able to craft a phoenix nest, so that if their very (VERY) powerful new phoenix mount dies, it will re-spawn as a chick in the nest you crafted.

So, there are my ideas. I hope you guys like them!
Even if it that post wasn't directed at anyone, it did not feel apologetic at all. In fact, the post felt more like it had stress and aggravation in it, like the user who wrote it was getting fed up with the ideas being posted here. But what I found very strange about the post was that, although the user said that "every new feature you want the developers to add is just another set back if they decide to use it", the user then goes on to say they they're not saying that no one should post ideas. I mean, people love posting ideas and giving suggestions to mods that they really like, but the user said that the ideas that are being posted here would have a chance to end up hurting the launch of the mod by pausing back the release date, if the devs choose to implement ideas given by overs.
With all the trouble on top of trouble it takes to obtain, feed, and raise a dragon why would you guys want the developers to slap on a stamina bar? The animal already needs to be fed. Often. Or it could stop listening and possibly turn on you. Imagine that happening while you're riding the bloody thing a hundred meters up. Wonder if an aggro dragon will bother chasing you to the splatter zone after it throws you off its back. A stamina bar will just be Another restriction. Nor am I a fan of having to feed the beast Even More to keep it in the air.
Further more every new feature you want the developers to add is just another set back if they decide to use it. The core release isn't even out yet, but they should add this or they should add that or do it this way or that way. I'm trying to hold back some until the core download is released. And NO, I am absolutely NOT telling any of you to "stick a cork in it" and to stop sharing ideas and debating, I'm just saying that the more you want them to add, if they decide to go with it, the farther it could push back the release date. I say lets see what it's like before saying that they should change things. We're so use to waiting and speculating that we sometimes convince ourselves that we know what gameplay will be like, but we really don't at all.
Sorry, tired and hyper are never a good combination.
The thing about mods meant for Minecraft 1.7.10 (or older), is that they're meant for Minecraft 1.7.10 (or older). Not 1.10.2.
I know! I got 1.10.2 so that I could use mods for that version. But from what you just said, do I need to delete all of my 1.7.10 mods to keep my 1.10.2 forge from crashing?

I'm having an issue with the mod. When I go to open the structure wiki, it says that there are zero structures available.

True. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against the post. I just had an urge to nitpick it XD
Sorry about that.

Guess I shouldn't post anymore ideas here

((ignore this))

If its okay to share ideas, wouldn't that just push back the release date?

Do you plan on implementing new mobs for your dimension?

It worked! Thank you guys so much for helping me!

Ah, I understand. In going to delete all of my 1.7.10 mods and try getting into 1.10.2 forge again. I'll update you guys if it works of not
