Nevermind, just figured out the solution. You can't define an item in the tree by its integer ID; rather, you have to hope the item has a string ID, which becomes exposed in the tooltip of items when you press F3 + H. Then you use that string to define the item in the XML tree, then call on the item from the Rules.

Thanks, and I could definitely consider that. That was actually my original idea, but I saw how easy just adding slots was and went with that.
Also, ModLoader support is top priority, hopefully I'll have it working during or after the weekend.

You can turn off certain ores via the Options menu.

Sounds like you may not have permission to access that file. Does your Windows account have restricted privileges?

Last I tested it, it worked fine, except for Silver max vein size. I get Silver veins with 20 pieces despite having it set to 3.

If you're on Windows XP, create a shortcut to the error test file, right-click it, click Properties, click the Layout tab at the top and increase height under "Screen buffer size." That way, hopefully, it won't discard the top of the error because there are too many lines.
May 5, 2011I did a search and couldn't find any mods like this, so I made it myself: a mod that increases the size of your inventory. It adds another row of slots, totaling 45 slots excluding armor. Most modded items in the image are from More Ores, and the banana is from More Trees.
It modifies the classes bf, bw, gf, hc, ie, ih, nr, nw, re, ta and y. It does not depend upon anything and can be installed alone. It is compatible with TooManyItems and ModLoader, and should be compatible with most mods that only add blocks or items.
Unfortunately, it may not be compatible with mods that add blocks which have their own interfaces, such as IndustrialCraft. When I figure out how to work ModLoader, hopefully I'll attempt to fix this.
Because it adds slots, it will not appear correctly with texture packs. It will still operate properly, however.
Download for 1.5_01
Installation on Windows:
1) Click Start Menu, click Run and type %appdata%.
2) Browse to .minecraft/bin.
3) Open up minecraft.JAR with WinRAR.
4) Drag and drop the class files into the JAR.
5) Drag and drop the gui folder into the JAR if you wish to make it default. This folder can also be used in a texture pack instead.
6) Delete the META-INF folder in the JAR.
If it blackscreens, download http://tiny.cc/errortest_bat and run it, then post the error.

PlasmaCraft used to be incompatible with ToolUtils, so someone asked about that; the author simply said that if the mod doesn't use ToolUtils he can't do anything about it. ToolUtils is just a very inconvenient thing until it either fixes that or becomes universal like ModLoader.

I am having the same issue...I copied every file (2 folders and all the class files) from the More Ores into the Minecraft.jar like it said in the Readme.

ToolUtils seems to cause issues with mods that don't use it.

There was one file that i didn't copy from the MoreOres folder: PReader.class. I didn't copy that because there was a version of Property Reader for Minecraft version 1.5.04. If this is the problem, I can easily fix it. Thanks for your help! :biggrin.gif:
I kept More Ores' PReader.class in there and it worked fine. That error makes it look like something else is wrong, though. Try redownloading the launcher and the JAR if leaving PReader alone doesn't help.

I can confirm that this happens to me too, and when I place any of the ores, they turn into grass stone. However, ores are generated just fine, and can be mined for the correct item.

Try installing it without adding PropertyReader. Despite what the main post says, you don't have to add the downloaded PropertyReader anymore, as More Ores now appears to come with it.
