    It's poor design choice because water music is meant for when you spend significant time in water, not when you step in a puddle and then back out. I could say more but it's just giving examples. Imagine if you went in a Nether portal by accident, or to grab a sword or something, and came back into the Overworld, and Nether music kept on playing instead of Overworld music.

    It would be too easy if villagers could defend themselves, that is your challenge and role as the player, who causes monsters to appear by loading in a village. Not to mention the Battle Royale-esque environment of soldiers fighting soldiers would take away from the game's theme and category and take away attention from other parts of Minecraft.


    You already have hostile mercenaries with piglin brutes and illagers.

    Lock all your villagers in a larger, more sturdy building such as a temple or church. Then build a double or triple tall fence between buildings and around the perimeter, cobble wall works best. And finally light up the inside everywhere. Then you can release villagers (although this still does not solve the problem of sieges in larger villages). ***actually, it does, as of 1.14.4.

    75% is not a terrible rate though. Some people here have said diamond is too common, I think this is a nice balance.

    It can be mentally taxing at times.


    It's more a mix of ideas that are too complicated or large, and bad writing style and format (like too few paragraph breaks, or run on sentences).

    I'd say you should hold off entering the Nether. You could definitely get strange results from mixing biome groups.

    Since you want to explore the Nether, call it something about the Nether so you know that's why you made this world.

    "1.16 first", "Nether say Nether", "Here comes the poglin", "Gha-choo", "A new dawn of the skyless", etc.

    I don't think you need a niche to be able to enjoy the game, I'm not that good at most things in the game, but I enjoy it by doing whatever I feel like doing in my world. I enjoy every aspect of the game except for PvP.


    Same here, except I like PvP ish and know less than zero about mods. (Scared of breaking the game)

    I don't think the developers intended it to be that way. It wouldn't make sense if they had modern buildings there instead. And most theories on Minecraft lore doesn't have evidence that makes sense. There's always something wrong.



    Mehh I don't know, really. I just can't buy that what seems so much like a zombie apocalypse is in fact not one.

    Unless things have changed in 1.16, wither skeletons spawn in fortresses, on nether brick they can spawn anywhere inside a box surrounding the upper part of the fortress, on anything other than nether brick they can only spawn where the actual walkways of the fortress are/were.

    So, you can replace the walkways with cobblestone (for instance) and they will still spawn or you can extend the walkways with nether brick and they should spawn on the expansions.

    Also they can apparently spawn anywhere there is a wither rose.


    So you can then farm skeletons using withers and farm withers using skeletons...nice!

    I like most of the music, although I wish creative music and survival music for the overworld were not mutually exclusive.


    Bedrock's decision to instantly play water music when you go in any more than 1 block of water is a poor design choice, though.
