    sandstone slab, sticky pistons (never found slime!), only crafted 2 normal pistons ever, some of the dyes, any golden tools, diamond armour

    thanks for the help guys, i was just fiddling, and i'm not quit sure what i did but i think the problem was i needed to invert 1 more of the signals. i'm going to read up a lot more on redstone when i get home from my girlfriends, I'm enjoying the challenge, and I think it's part of the physics unit next year.

    the second shows all the wiring, except for the little bit in the top right which just powers the block with the torch on the right. the first image just shows the second in relation to the lever and doors

    Hi guys, I have a redstone problem that i need help with, It's for a jail I'm doing in the build you can find in my signature. Basically, I'm trying to have a security checkpoint, where you open 1 door, and the other one closes, then if you open that door, the other one opens. Check out the screenshots I got below, the dirt blocks with the wire is where the levers are located, and the dirt blocks with torches on top are where the doors are.

    my problem is as follows: in image (a), the first door is closed, whilst the other is open. fine. image (B ), i hit the first lever, and the first is open, whilst the second is closed. image c, however, shows when i switch the second lever, only the second door is opened, and the first door is not closed. (d) and (e) show the circuit I currently have set up. The Images are Labelled in the Spoiler

    can anyone help me with this? I only have pretty basic redstone knowledge so bear with me.

    Well, the title pretty much says it all, this is my first build of any real size, It is going to be a castle set in the snow, basically because that's where i spawned. I would really appreciate constructive comments, as a am inexperienced with the architecture involved, however i do feel it's coming along quite nicely (: I will update this as regularly as possible, however I am building this at my secondary residence (my dad's place) on a laggy computer, so bear with me.

    I am also considering putting this up for an R.P. server, so if anyone is interested in using the finished product (if I ever finish it) or have suggestions, post below, or PM me


    overall image of the scene, with the ravine, the first section of the wall, first turret (which still needs some work), astronomy tower which just needs finishing up the top, and beginnings of the chapel.


    Images of the mostly finished chapel (the chandelier looks a bit dodgy, any suggestions?






    also, please note I am not religious, so a hefty chunk of this is based off my school chapel, and given a religion based around appreciating minecraft.
