The thing about the current generator: the biomes don't transition smoothly. Back in beta, you could barely ever tell where a biome's edge was. It felt so natural. Biomes now have such hard borders and don't blend together nicely.
While I don't really care about capes as they are just a vanity item, you're honestly sounding arrogant. People in alpha weren't the only helpers, you realize this right? Plus, the players were mostly finding bugs; Mojang rarely adds community suggestions.
Now don't get me wrong, Mojang DOES add some community suggestions, but most are ignored, rejected, or simply not noticed.
So, I guess my question got lost a few pages ago, so I'll ask it again.
Where are all of the resources in GiftWARPED? I can't find any iron or coal at all. I only ever get it in chests or when a proximity bomb goes off, which doesn't give much anyways.
I can't find any coal OR iron. I know you can make charcoal, but iron is pretty much essential for tools and there's no other way to obtain it besides chests and zombies.
Why? Your idea was great, just with a few flaws that could have been easily been overlooked.
One of my previous ideas was to have sheep spawners in fleecy boxes in stead of wool chests, and you would need to find a chest of grass blocks to allow them to spawn. People pointed out that it was simply tedious and didn't really add any difficulty, but I recall one other person liking the idea.
I'm a little late on this, but I had an idea for villager trading currency.
So, you guys were talking about worthless stuff like dead bushes and sponges and stuff you wouldn't normally find in a CTM map. Throw all of that out the window.
The currency is going to be WOOL. Yup, colored wool. Depending on how many times you lose the wool, you can get an insane amount of loot or little to none.
1. Too easy to use this beast to grief on an SMP server. Put a whitelist on your server if you don't want griefers.
2. Nearly impossible to kill (I could barely bruise it with diamond armor and a diamond sword, along with potions) Opinion. Anyways, it's supposed to be hard to kill. That's, you know, the POINT of a boss.
3. Way too darn fast. Opinion. See above.
4. As of right now, just pretty much worthless. It provides an actual challenge to this easy game and gives you access to the beacon, which honestly needs some work.
I don't like 1.8. Why?
I don't like 1.0.0 Why?
I don't like 1.1. Why?
I don't like 1.2. Why?
I don't like 1.3. Why?
1.4.2 IS A DARNED TERRIBLE BEAST IN MY OPINION! Why?
Emeralds should stick to extreme hills. Jeb intended for the player to gain emeralds through trading, but added their ore in as a little bonus for mining in a certain biome.

Oh, and forested mountains. We need those too.
