Mar 14, 2012All of the "special included" download links are either broken, deleted, the site is changed, the file has a virus inside and it doesn't want to let you download, the file is corrupted or some other ********. Could you possibly have one of the "special included" download links stay ad.fly, but have it something like Mediafire? Because Filedropper and Filefactory keeps yelling at me to pay them.Posted in: Maps
Aug 31, 2011I were watching X(AKA davidr64yt) play minecraft and I looked at the world he got from the generator. I came to the conclusion that I miss the Alpha world generator. In the early Alpha times, before the halloween update, we had a beautiful terrain. Spectacular mountain archs, random tiny islands with funny shallows... I know Notch is going to add a new Biome, but it wont fit the old one in any way. After the halloween update we had to search and walk for ages to find the terrain and mountains we wanted. And this was most often far away from spawn. Mostly what you find now is just small hills, boring plains and random ponds all over. Sure we want flatlands for building cities and towns, but the mountains give a gorgeous place for building your home or building a hangover town.Posted in: Survival Mode
What I want in Minecraft is just to make a world and look at the beautiful terrain to relax my mind and not to see just nothing, nothing and nothing all over.
Make a post to this topic to show I'm not the only one missing the Pre-Alpha generator.

HEY YOU! Yes, you! If you are a user at the forums, PLEASE post a reply, your thoughts, a bump, or anything else to keep this thread alive - The only reason I work hard on this is because getting replies, people wanting more, support, ect. Aramis got famous because of feedback, make this map famous! After all, it is better than Aramis
Hey guys! Check out my other maps:
My new survival horror map, AmnesiaCraft, based on the game Amnesia: The Dark Descent: http://www.minecraft...flatham-aramis/
Note about the NPC's: Do not kill any NPC's unless it is mentioned, otherwise, they will respawn as a bugged NPC and you would be breaking a rule. So, don't kill any NPC unless it is indicated or unless he attacks you. Also, if an NPC duplicates, ignore him, its just a little bug (will be fixed in upcoming versions),don't kill him, just ignore it... (this is for map v0.2.1, not for v0.2)
Note 2: Feel free to post walkthroughs you have recorded from Flatham here! If they are good enough, I will add them to the thread!

I'm trying to get any of these famous Youtubers to play my map. Send Flatham to these users, just send them a message saying to play this map and give them the link to this topic and if they play it, that would be a true honor. I will work faster on this project if you they play it. That means v0.3 will come out sooner...
Videos of the map:
Video made by the awesome youtuber inthelittlewood, subscribe to him!
NOTE: Map name is Flatham, it is pronounced Flath-am, not Flat-Ham, it doesn't has anything to do with ham or flat food
Anyways, lets start:
Hello guys! This is an RPG map named Flatham, map is at Aramis, the planet where my other RPG map takes place (if you havent checked it out, CLICK HERE). If you havent played my map, you will feel a bit confused while reading this
Flatham is a region at this planet (like Imperial Lands, Borea Forest, Black Woods and Atacar), but it is an island, a island very distant from the other regions of the planet, your character name is Eldor, a warrior from Imperial Lands (a region at Aramis) that arrived to Flatham in a ship sent from the Imperial River, you were told by the king to come. The region of Flatham is suffering an infection, that is taking the whole lands and soon, it will reach the other regions at the other side of the Imperial Sea, you must put an end to this unknown infection, before its too late.
This map has been inspired in The Elder Scrolls and Fallout games, and of course, my map Aramis.
Flatham has free roam, like my other map, and as said before, Flatham is a DLC for the original map Aramis, well, a very huge DLC, that's why i recommend you to play my map Aramis before try this, otherwise, you might not understand many things. (however, its not obligatory to play it before try this).
Flatham offers at least 7 hours of gameplay (main quests), and with side quests, it includes more than 30 hours of exciting gameplay! Making that a total or 37 hours of gameplay!
Enable any of these signatures as a sign of support, i've had also provided differents alternatives and color signatures:
Just copy the code under the signature you like, click on edit signature (at edit profile), click the lightswitch icon (near the eraser icon) then paste the signature code and it's done!
Remember to check last page for daily updates! (ill post there the things i have done and built through the day),one daily update per day (sounds obvious)
Flatham is a mix of everything in an RPG style world, parkour, combat, mazes, jumping courses, puzzles, adventure, etc!
Note: This pictures will only show you a 40% of the map, they are here just to give you an idea of what you'll see and play. There a lot more to discover, a lot...
Note 2: Most of the pictures were taken before NPC's were added, don't worry, cities have NPC's... Im saying this in case you guys say "were are NPC's.
Note 3: Don't update to minecraft 1.1, map currently works for and only minecraft 1.0, it will be updated when all mods are compatible with 1.1.

*Epic structures never seen before
*Structures/cities/villages at nether
*Misc. items store
*And more than 100 other things I will not mention because it's up to you to find them...
Note: If you contribute to this map by building structures, signatures, and extreme feedback, you will be credit'd.

And a few other side quests...
Everytime i have some side quests done for v0.3, i'll add them here
Jobs at Flatham are an easy way to get paid with the money system other than doing quests, you can work... or you could rob banks...
Map rules and important notes:
-Dont break blocks unless you are indicated to do it.
-Dont kill any NPC's unless you are indicated to do it.
-Must be played in NORMAL difficulty.
-Dont place blocks, unless you are indicated to do it or unless it is a bed, a torch or glowstone (only to iluminate, not to reach places).
-Once you read a book, place it in your inventory and dont drop it unless you already finished the quest.
-Follow the money system.
-Follow any other in-game map rules.
-Read carefully every book.
-Must play with the Texture Pack.
-Dont use any other mods other than the ones included in the mod pack.
-Dont use any inventory hacking program.
It is very important to read every book carefully since this is a new type of adventure/rpg map and a new quest system, so you might be confused at start.
REMEMBER TO ALWAYS START THE MAP WITH MUSIC VOLUME AT 0% AND NEVER CHANGE UNLESS YOU ARE INDICATED TO DO IT. Otherwise, the map included music might be without synch and bug
You can sleep during the day.
When you sleep, the bed where you slept becomes your new spawn point. So, beds are used to save and as a checkpoint system.
You can only craft weapons and tools.
You can loot the items from the chests unless its a store or unless it is mentioned to don't do it.
+70.624 DOWNLOADS! 70k users can't go wrong!
Map (v0.2.1): http://adf.ly/5lgO3 (Remember to also download new version of installer) (v0.4.1)
*Updated to minecraft v1.1.0
*Fixed lots of minor and major bugs
*Tweaked some NPC's
*Tweaked some structures and places
(This is not a bug, but just in case): If you try to sleep at a bed and it says "Bed is blocked", destroy the sign near the bed to be able to sleep on it.
Don't want to loose your progress? Then before download the map, (if you are in the middle of a quest, or a side quest, make sure to finish it before update), at Flatham, pick all the items you want to keep, and place them in your inventory, after that, close the map, and in the saves folder at the .minecraft folder, at the map save file, copy the file named level.dat to the desktop and delete the map, then download the map (v0.2.1), install it the same way you installed the previous versions and copy the level.dat file you had on your dekstop to the map save file folder. You will have the items you added to the inventory, your last position and other things you had before.
Mod pack Installer (v0.4.1) Map must be played with the mods included in this mod pack, don't worry, you just have to click the next button with this installer, but please, MAKE SURE TO READ THE READ ME FILE, it is important, otherwise, don't complain: http://www.mediafire...s6ave3s9y5nke63
Note about mod pack v0.4.1: Mod pack v0.4.1 is currently bugged, so it is recommended to wait for fix or download the v0.2 of the map, which works in minecraft 1.0 with mod pack v0.3. You can download it map v0.2.1 and mod pack v0.4.1, but it is not recommended since it will not give a you a very good gameplay experience compared to v0.2
Map v0.2 (works on minecraft 1.0): http://adf.ly/5ll0z
Mod pack v0.3 (only for map v0.2): http://www.mediafire...xim41100lbolhqp
Before install the mod pack, make sure to use a fresh jar.
Here is an important note you must remember, NEVER start the map if you haven't installed the mod pack, otherwise, there will not be any NPC's, books and some other things/features.
If you find any bugs with the map, please post at this thread. Also, you guys are free to share experiences with the map, ask me questions about quests, etc.
If your the text in your books its glitched, make sure to download these fixed books: http://adf.ly/5lg7g
Open the zip file, and extract the folder named books (if you are windows), if you are in MAC OS, use the folder named books inside the MACOS folder. Copy the folder named books as said before, and paste it at the map save file location (.minecraft/saves), if it asks you to replace some files, click yes to all. Done!
Just in case, map has some grammar errors, but you might not even notice them, however, they will be fixed in the upcoming versions...
REMEMBER, MAP MUST BE PLAYED WITH THE TEXTURE PACK ON AND IN NORMAL DIFFICULTY

Started a lets play of this map because it's that awesome! So far the audience reaction is the same as ours, that being this is one of the best adventure maps out there!
Added to the official Criswelvania playlist (401+). Pretty funny so far, this might make the Best Of list.
Okay, 1.2.3 is out, I've played with it and done a test conversion to the Anvil format, everything seems to work great. There's some double doors that will need fixing, and I might have to trim back some vines. But the new build height is *amazing*, imagine if I'd been able to build this thing with that height to begin with... well it'd probably still be in development, haha.
Also I've gotten a huge framerate boost from the new update, I was getting lag spikes of death on C'vania in 1.1, to the point where I had to time my jumps and attacks between the lag spikes every 2 seconds or so. I was worried that might become a problem but it's fixed now for me, if you're experiencing this as well, then the upgrade is worth it for this alone.
As soon as SPC and TMI get updated, I'll be able to finish the latest version of Criswelvania, look for it in the next couple weeks. Potions! Enchantments! Dogs! Cats!
In other news, I've almost beaten the game on my 1.1 hardcore world (seed "vegeta"), after about 12 other failed worlds. Just need to gear up for the End. Wish me luck!
Oct 1, 2011BalefirePhoenix posted a message on [Evolution] Memory Of The Tribe - The Prelude (400+ DLs)There was that Meteor thing.Posted in: Maps
It brought something to our world.
And we are NOT happy with it.
Tonight we leave our homes and do some investigation.
- a series of maps based on a single tribes life, that will completely change your Minecraft experience!
You are a tribe. You are a fairly large tribe. You have a huge village, you collect fruits and tame animals, you don't care about things that come out at night...
because they don't.
Your world is peaceful, and so are you.
But once there was that storm... everlasting storm that destroyed nature around you...
Then the meteor came.
It destroyed your village, killing most of the men.
But somehow, six of you were brought to another place.
It seems to be no other that the world you know. There is a forest, some ponds and a meteor - a mere reflection of the one that attacked you, but still dangerous. You start making a new village and doing your ordinary business.
But you don't know what awaits you...
Those are the abilities your tribe possessed before the disaster. You CANNOT use no other abilities than that. And if you are searching for the rules... well those are the rules. Do ONLY the things you can do. You will unlock more abilities as you progress through this dangerous world.
Communication - the ability to talk. Simple, yet so needed.
Woodcutting and Carving - the ability to make everything wooden.
Charcoal Burning and Glass Making - the lava lakes you discovered in a new world provided mysterious substances that set things on fire and turned one to another. Your people managed to bring some of them home and tame them to create Furnaces.
Hunting - The ability to kill animals by bare hands.
(Achieved after Week 2)Mushroom Cooking - A simple ability to provide yourself some food by mixing up mushrooms!
(Achieved after Week 3) Boat Making - You cannot swim. But with this handy transport, there are no obstacles in your way!
(Achieved after Week 3)Writing (and crafting signs) - We used to write on cave walls. But there was actually a proper material for that - wood!
(Achieved after Week 3)Brawling - Now you can fight off every dangerous creature!
(Achieved after Week 4)Sword Wielding - That will help with the monster problem!
(IMPORTANT) Things you still cannot do:
-Cross the rivers and seas(not after Week 3)
Q: Is it WIP?
A: No! You can already download it. Though it's genre makes it always be 'in progress'!Q: Week 2 is kinda confusing. How do I install it?
A: Load the .rar -> install it like you would normally -> dump level.dat into your .minecraft/saves/Week 2 folder.
Q: Can I bring my house from Week 1 to Week 2 map?
A: No, but in an upcoming AC map all challenges will be stored in one map, so you won't need to bother.
Q: Can I play this with %modname%? It's not a hack!
A: Sure, but if you want to upload your save, remove all content from it previously.
Q: How many weeks will there be?
A: 15. I'll probably make Season 1, Season 2... something like that.
Q: You should make a server of this!
A: As for now, no. Only when it will be fully completed.
Q: Can I make a map using your concept?
A: Yes, while it's on MCF. But you should make a [MOTT] marker in your thread and also link here in your 'Credits' page.
A Swamp Of Kodura
This is a map made by me. Its goal is to show off this RPG concept. On it, you're going to achieve new goals, discover new technologies and eventually turn your tribe into a Civilization!
NOTE: The map will progress. The first person who will achieve the goal AND post the save here, will get it's structures brought to the next generation's map! Though if no save will be posted after a week, I'll release a new one by myself.
You are a new member of tribe! But you must prove that you will not be... useless. Build yourself a home on a new tree, then connect it to others!
Buildings on the map:
-Two Crafting Houses
-A Meteor Shrine.
Also, currently play on peaceful.
People who have posted the save:
You have proven to be a great tribesman! Now you are part of the community.
The time is passing, and the food the men were able to carry with them when the Meteor fell is started to finish. On the search of food, you find a strange structure - a giant mushroom of some sort, that appeared to grow after we came here. You actually discover there are a lot of mushrooms out there. But everyone knows they have no use. What's the point of collecting them?
On the fifth day, starving, people started to eat everything they find - branches, flowers, roots... but someone actually ate a mushroom and found it tasty! Moreover, some mushrooms mixed up in a bowl are a deluxe source of food!
(Technology unlocked: Mushroom Cooking)
Now you must go and find some mushrooms for food. They are usually hidden under the trees. 10 bowls of soup will be enough... for some time.
Bonus task: Build a mushroom hut!
Screens (updated buildings):
People who have posted the save:
When everything is fine and there's no need to search for food and shelter, your tribe decides to rebuild everything from the old village. Firstly, the watch tower - a building that allows to watch over great areas.
The construction took three days. When it was finished, it was already late night. You decide to look at the area from it. There are swamps, swamps, swamps, swamps... a village. With people there! They seem to be moving somewhere. But your tribe is a lazy one, so you just go to sleep.
In the night, there were sounds. Violent, unfamiliar...
Next day you decide to take a look at the village. But there is a problem in your way - a river. Seems you have to cross it somehow...
(Technologies unlocked: Boat Making, Writing, Brawling)
- Build a boat and go through the river.
- Explore the village.
WARNING: From that point, play on Easy+!
- Return to your village and tell people about a danger coming - the undead. Actually, make a sign saying it!
Screens (updated buildings, I won't spoil the ruined village though):
People who have posted the save:
'What's happening?', 'What did you find?', 'What is that thing you just placed down?' and 'Who the Meteor are undead and why should we care?' - questions of the day in Kodura. You are unable to answer those. The only thing you know is they are dangerous... At least you got the tribe to place a hatch for safety.
But the following day, these creatures have somehow lurked here! Now zombies are knocking down all the torches, and spiders are placing webs all over the place... and that green thing blew up the bridge! This is mad!
(Technologies unlocked: Sword Wielding)
Clean the village! (Replace torches, destroy cobwebs, rebuild the bridge and meanwhile fight off the monsters.)
Download (first 4 weeks in one .zip file):
You come up with different defence mechanisms, weapons and things... but none of them are effective against the undead. Not blowpipes, not leaf traps... nothing.
Then one night that sign was placed.
Maybe it will help discover things?
Follow the path.
Do what you're told.
If the sign down there is kinda hard fot you to understand,
You should completely destroy the village and bring it with you. Your inventory will be used for rebuilding it in the upcoming world.Screens:

Some stuff about the map:
Future - I plan to make 10-15 Weeks, and then... *epic music playing* export it to one big AC map, where the challenges will be scripted!
Dev team - For now it's just me, but I will hire more builders and scripters a little bit later.

Shut up and enjoy the game.
Minecraft has been improving, not much rpg **** has been added to it, and you can still build, adventure it's only another way to play the game.
Go play in notepad, then.
It has made the game better really, try them.
*cough cough* Creative mode *cough cough* Incoming mod support*cough cough*

Succubi, as defined in the dictionary, are female demons who often appear in men's dreams and drain their energy through seduction and sexual interactions. The Succubi (plural) in Minecraft, originating from the Nether, aren't so excited about sexual actions as they are about just draining your life for their own use. Succubi still attempt to lure the player into their trap with their looks and charms, however, disguising as attractive females and attacking quickly before the man has a chance to escape. Their light bodies make the task even easier, as they can glide across large gaps and leap up two blocks at a time. Despite anything they say, what they're really after is your life energy, not your manhood.
Succubi use their charms to distract the player and make the battle much more difficult. The succubus will mark its target by vaporizing all nearby mobs and calling out to you, so if you hear an odd pickup line or the sound of 50 spiders mysteriously dying all at once, you know that there is a Succubus nearby. Once a Succubus gets too close, the player will experience some problems with movement. The camera will constantly pan towards the succubus, movement will be slowed and jumping will be crippled. Luckily, this doesn't prevent you from fighting back, so swing that sword with all your might. If she gets really, really close to you, she'll begin to rapidly drain your life, heart by heart. The succubus will grow stronger as you grow weaker, so make sure that the only thing she gains is a sword somewhere in her body.
The Succubus seems to enjoy pain, both yours and hers, but when she dies, she'll be a little less happy. When you land the finishing blow on a Succubus, you'll be rewarded with a small amount of health for your efforts, which is nice considering that her fierce draining attack can even pierce armor. If you're lucky, she might drop one or two of her horns as well. The horns can be crafted with a bone to make a Leeching Sword, as shown in the picture below. Besides being equivalent to an iron sword, the Leeching Sword has a special ability that allows you to gain extra items from a corpse after it has died. Once you kill a creature, you can strike the body after it has died (but before it puffs away into smoke) to make extra loot come out, with a certain chance. If you can click fast enough, you might be able to get a few extra leather, meat or feathers from each animal you kill. Pretty soon you'll be feeling like a Succubus yourself, draining every last drop of goodness out of your prey.
You may also encounter a different looking version of the succubus if you explore the Nether, which is actually its true demon form. Succubi won't be expecting humans in their home world, so they don't take the time to disguise themselves all nice and pretty. Do you think they look more attractive with blue skin? They're not supposed to, anyway...
Summary of Abilities:
Drains health rather than dealing normal damage
Considered to be a Monster
Usually spawns alone
Destroys all nearby monsters upon targeting the player
Occasionally drops horns which can be used to craft a special sword
Rewards a health bonus upon death
Has a light body and can glide similar to chickens
Slows the player, pans the camera and cripples jumping
Will only target the player if in direct sight
Easy to spot amongst other mobs due to bright skin
Configuration file with adjustable rarities, and the succubus won't despawn pets.
Nothing, besides being overpowered! :biggrin.gif:
You must first install Risugami's Mod Loader + Audio Mod before this mod will work. Please do not attempt to install old versions of the mod loader into the 1.7.3 client.
If you are using a Mac computer, search for a special Mac installation tutorial if you have problems installing the mod.
Once you've successfully install the three requirements above, simply follow the instructions included in the download.
