Man... I must say this is a rip off. When in reality you must always be connected to the internet using this. And you could just go on google and go on the many seed websites.
DON'T GET IT
It's a complete marketing scam. It's gimmicky, you don't need it. When in life are you going to want to pay 2 USD for something you could check on the internet for free. Especially if your several miles away from your computer

Look... This doesn't change game play. It should... work on multiplayer. I'll look into some of the.... And maybe add a section were these mods can go

I'm quite certain I've made my self clear that this mod is completely client based. So it works in multiplayer. So that means longer days/nights will never be added... This is completely vanilla remember?
Also... Stars may have to wait as it is quite hard. I went and messed with some of the code in the star textures... and I removed the night sky plus the moon and sun glitched on top of each other.
Anyways.... I have started working on different cloud types... and also working on biome stuffs... So the release will be out somewhat soon I guess.

It's fine. I'm trying to add on to this list. Maybe make it one of those "Hot" or "Popular" Threads. Just because I wish to help people who want some mods without changing gameplay mechanics.
I guess you could call it Vannilla with Sprinkles. ^-^

I'm glad to see some people happy about this. I could never, ever, find a mod on the lines of this. Maybe Matmos, or maybe Better Animations, but not adding what I'm planning. Beta testing sure, but I'm afraid this isn't in Beta, or in Alpha. I'm trying to break into the weather code and correspond it with clouds. I guess I should start with easier tasks, and release something. Maybe some warmer Lightmaps, or different cloud types. The double cloud layer is still buggy. I'm mainly trying to make it right now that Textures correspond to weather. So when it rains, it overcasts. You know.
I need to do some "Indiana Jones" into the coding for what makes up the night sky and the stars. I haven't seen any texture packs changing the stars or the empty space, so I'm assuming it's a coding thing. I can't promise it, but I can surly try. To be honest, I'm not sure it's been ever done :0.

Point is, not much we can do. I liked the outlines for some objects like chicken (Somewhat corresponded to the base color of the sprite) and not the thick black one which was around the golden apple.

To be honest, it doesn't seem to lag a lot. Most of the things that are being added are more like textures changing depending on the current value. So when it rains, I make the clouds larger and darker. Or when your in a desert the clouds go away. Adding fog when it rains is simple.
So it's like an animated texture pack, that follows a certain relevance to what happens.
Or in other words, it changes the texture when I program it to.

I think if Minecraft starts directing it's self to a Realistic side but aside with a fantasy like world it would be great! Right now they are adding way to many mystical and magical stuff. If they took the time to add, lets say, some new plants or a bear, and maybe add the sky dimension. I just think there should be Realism. I like the game for the survival aspect, you know having to eat and hunting for bacon. But if it goes into a Maple Story direction where all you do is do what they want you to do. So many "do's"
Also, I think if Mojang added a terrible engine. By this I mean, that it runs too much stuff in the background and can use up too much CPU. Sort of how the 1.3.1 update went down. Now, you have a single player world, while running a server host in the background. With more CPU intensive desiring game, it would just mean that most people with bad computer (not me) wont play, and would mean that sales would go down.
I think if Mojang added something I like to call "Block-Blocks". When I say this, I mean the cube count of each model starts rising. If I was to give an example, I would probably say, if they made the ores actually come out in a three dimensional way. So instead of it being a cube, it turns into some sort of con-caving cube thing. Or an example they have now, the enderdragon. I personally like it, reasonable amount of polygons. But if they made every block that detailed it would just be terrible.
Not something big, but... Adding too much stuff for one update. I do like the action packed updates they have that add new items/blocks/etc into the game, but if they added too much stuff in one update, I fear people would find that very game breaking. Just because people would think that it would have become a new game. If they slowly but surly added stuff in the game that would be great. Just image if they added the whole "Better than Wolfs" Mod in one update.
Like people said, modern things. I also think muskets and steam-punk are gamebreaking just since its a little futuristic. Think of it this way, your stranded on a island, lets make a AIRSHIP! No electronics, (We have redstone already).
Or if you made the game a F2P. This would make it's way towards a Club Penguin or TF2 way. Not saying that TF2 is bad, or anything of that manner, however, you would most likely have some sort of ingame shop that gave you special stuff. Hasn't anyone heard of the term, "Free to play, Pay to Win".???
If you read this well done! I normally don't type these things this long. I just think that instead of people saying "OmGz!!1 RaIninG Endar CreApaHSSSS!!!!! LOLOLOLolspfd!!!!111111!!1112" there should be some more , first of creative reasons, and no repeating what other people say.

I seem to like the mountains. I'm flying around the place to see if there's a nice mountain to build. However, mots mountains I see don't have a large top. By these means I mean that the house would be on top of the mountain. Problem is, most mountains start 8 blocks wide and at the top it's 1 block. I'm still flying around.
I also don't know if there is a near by village. Is there one?
EDIT: I flew around the map. To be honest there aren't a lot of mountains, and the mountains there are not eroded. I know I sound picky, but I'd like some mountains that have a flat top ('m willing to carve out a flat part), and I want them to come out of the water slowly but quickly....
Like this?
Well that's one side of the hill, I'm no artist with emotes, and it would go up, and flatten out, coming down more gradual on the side not facing the ocean.
I know I am being very picky...
