The new launcher holds no problems for me, yet I am on a new computer, as I am on vacation, and I would like to play on the older version to be able to connect to my servers. Could someone direct me to a link to the older launcher?
Thanks ~aheberle
Well I'm glad that my thread has made you remember all the good times on your first world, because no matter what anyone says, no matter if you were frustrated or elated, you loved that world. (POETRY FTW :D)
Technically, this is not the correct forum for this type of topic, but I know it can be exciting, making your very first videos, because I am an aspiring youtuber myself. Make sure to put the in the correct place next time, K?
I've got one that uses the same principle on a server I play on, and I made it huge for no reason. Actually, I'm going for the largest survival-made cactus farm
Everyone loves their old worlds. I know I do, but Predextrous, I wouldn't delete it. I also seem to have gotten your first post on my thread Congrats! Welcome to the community. @Alizona I know a great community on a server I play on, where everybody is generous and nice. The server is completely legitimate to players, and has no plugins that non-admins can use. I think you'd love it. I certainly do! The server is called Musecraft, owned by TheMinecraftMuse, who does youtube videos. Now he goes under the name Spumwack, his minecraft name, here's the IP if you want to play on the server: 50.155.41.4:25565. Hope you have fun! (Note: this is not an advertisement, I am trying to help someone find a server that they can play on and have fun on)
I instantly found a village with TWO blacksmiths, giving me 3 diamonds and armor and- most importantly- TONS OF SAPLINGS :D. I might have screenshots later.
Not lava pouring onto it, but a dispenser or two supplying whatever you want to cook and the coal/lava/blaze rods into the hopper, and into the furnace would work
Thanks for replying and letting me look at your stories. I know we all have some, so does anyone else have an old world that is still loved but no longer played on? Edit~ And if you want to know how long I've played, I've played since right after 1.0 came out. Not too long considering the whole history of the game, but I've seen sooo many updates in my time that I can call myself a slightly older player. A bit more that one year since I started playing
Oh don't worry, Cap, I understood what you were saying. What probably happened was in the nether, the portal couldn't spawn exactly where it was supposed to, maybe because there were blocks there, so it moved to another spot, therefore creating another portal in the overworld as well. To fix this, take the coordinates of the original nether portal you built, divide X and Z by 8, and go to those coordinates in the nether, and build a nether portal there. It should go straight to your home portal!
Today I was playing my newest hardcore world. I went a few days and stopped. As I looked for a server to play on, I remembered my first ever world. At the time of my first world, I was playing a new game that was extremely fun to me. I spent hours on that world, and now it is abandoned, due to the ugliness of the landscape, my infinite diamonds that I glitched, and just terribleness(Is that a word? Spell check seems to thinks so). But I revisited all the good times I had had on that world. I was leaving the world, and then I remembered "There's a recreate option now!" I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up, as I had forgotten world spawning had changed drastically since that world... ;_; I love that world. It brought me into this amzing game and I just wanted to play it right this time.. Well... That's my story, can anyone relate? I'd love to hear your stories of old worlds. Thanks for reading, aheberle
Well, things like blazes and withers and ghasts don't have wings :/. Ghasts I would believe fly by hot air, blazes fly by the concept of jet boots. (fire) and Withers fly by magic. I don't think that that they would be affected by this rule (Well, at least for blazes and ghasts, Withers might run out of magic and have to 'regenerate'.) But for bats, I think it would be a good idea, and for the enderdragon, how about it rests on top of a pillar? Half Support
Not a bad idea. At first I thought this would be something about how fast items move in water. And I had my response 'Put ice under the water' all ready too D: Support though.
Recently I've seen a lot of threads whining about swamps. You have the same problem, but you act on the problem and propose an answer to that problem, instead of simply whining that swamps have to be removed. I like your ideas and I like that you do not whine. Support.
