A while back I decided to "revive" my own unity game (after realizing Unity has been in v4.6 and I was on v4.5). This game has, in the past, been on this forum under this thread. The new update, which took some time, has made the following changes to the game:
Fix game breaking error where you couldn't pass Level 1
And now, for a more detail description on the main feature of the update:
Level Grading is a new feature that derives from Super Meat Boy, in which you would be graded at the end of each level, this feature may soon be built upon for something like trophies.
In the last update I made a fourth level, which was on a larger field than the other levels, and included having the player be followed by the camera, I am still in deciding if this should be in levels 1-3. I have also stated that there are plans for new features and models. These ARE still planned, I just don't know what order to do it in, or what new mechanics to do,.
So without further ado, here are some images.
Download & Install Instructions:
Step 1. Download.
You can download the game from here. Choose Standalone.zip. That gives you Windows, Mac, and Linux versions.
Really? you wasted unity on a block game? Unity is for cool 3D, high quality games. You made a block game... though.. it is original... and if it has good puzzles and no bad frame rate... I could see it on Steam... heck... I would buy it on Steam. Heck, I will help you make it if you plan to put it on steam.
I used Unity because of the simplicity an because I like how I can change up the models at will, also because it is probably the easiest free game engine.
Ok guys, here is a big update on the progress of the game...so be prepared.
The next update (pre-alpha 4) will be either tomorrow or Friday (depending on how fast I can compile. This update will bring the first level that is larger in size. But this isn't the big news. The big news is for what is planned to come on later updates. i have been planning on multiple things from a level select and grading system (similar to smb), character models, more enemy types (like spikes) amongst other things. When are they comming? I don't know. This is a big leap so stay tuned. Pre-Alpha version 5-7 probably won't contain much more than more large levels.
Again, thanks for playing my game and I hope you enjoyed it.
You caught this, but you didn't catch the part where talking about "command prompt" as a programming language?
P.S. C is not a very good first choice, as purely procedural programming (the only thing C is good at) is not going to get you far these days, and there's no reason to learn C when you could be learning C++ instead.
P.P.S. you can get to your appdata folder just by putting %appdata% as your path in explorer. There's no reason to use a command prompt for that.
I didn't say anything about command prompt...
PS By C i meant C++ although I hate both. And yes I know /big difference/
Did you ask anybody for help picking out parts? I could have told you that you don't need the thermal compound, you have an unlocked Z97 mobo with a locked processor, you could have gotten cheaper, better RAM, and the R9 280 is better than the 760 and costs less.
As for the mobo and processor, PC Part Picker said it was compatible, I don't understand.

Thank you for checking this out, any ideas, problems, etc. should be sent through comments/replies on this forum only.
As for levels, more to come!
PS. Sorry for the UI being wanky, I recommend using 800x600 for best results.(Fixed)0

who are you talking about

Ah, that's why. Yeah Unity and Flash don't go hand in hand very well - at least with my game.

Might I recommend TutorialsPoint as a start? Starts off very simple and easy for anyone (even people who know nothing about programming) to pick up.

Learning on your own, as in not using tutorials?

I chose a different processor than what was on the list, same with mobo. I mustve mafe changes and never saved them.
