My jaw has hit the floor. The pistons look cool, the ability to make them sticky is even MORE cool, we NOW FINALLY HAVE A WAY TO CONTROL WATER FLOW (which makes me super happy), and that secret entrance....That was ...that was....absolutely freakin awesome. I am making one of those!
And now...I must go change my pantaloons. This video made me make a mess in them out of sheer aweosmeness.

a) A little indoor balcony or a bunch of outdoor balconies overlooking a pool, OR lots and lots of windows and glass ceiling
c) A bathroom with a working shower, sink and painting for a mirror
d) A lava powered hot tub or pool
e) A little bit of Lava in my forgework area, in the basement, alongside a semi-automatic smelting system.
f) Dogs/Wolves are not allowed in the house. Cats are not allowed to Leave the house, unless I have a bunch of them.
There ARE exceptions, like the base I built into a waterfall cliff, but those exceptions are rare.
That's all can think of, at the moment.

Being able to send back items when I'm on a long journey would be super super great. I also like the idea of the perch sending out a redstone signal if it's occupied.

Ah, ok. Yeah, I wanted to use lethamyr since it's a standard survival world which rewards exploration due to the dungeons and landmarks in it. If you say it's not the best map for that, Sure, I'll keep looking around for good "Survival Plus" maps.
And yeah, I noticed the lack of caves when I used Lethamyr as my main world. Aside from that it was great though. If I could force horses to spawn in the world (don't they just spawn on world creation only?), then I'd get back to using it again. The long trek times were the only real problem I had with it.
Thanks!

Is there an easy way to hack out the creeper spawners in these maps?
Basically, my girlfriend is getting into minecraft and I'd like to introduce her to Lethamyr, but the creeper spawners will likely be way too much for her to handle...
Like, if I get world editor, is there a simple way to do that?

Sadly, I wasted my first anvil to repair and improve a sword....That I lost in the lava deaths. XD

I'm mainly upset at how pointless both deaths were.
I was just returning from a raid on one of the upper mines areas and for some reason tons of enemies spawned on the way back, and as I'm running, I got a lag-spike and next thing I know I'm knee deep in lava.
Then the second one, I was finishing off my raid, and I was slowly strafing left to snipe a creeper while charging my bow, and fell into a 1-block wide hole that I didn't know what there and into lava...In a concave form that ensured that ALL my items burned up. ;_;
And this was within minutes of each other.

MODSBANNED LAVA!!!!!
I fell into it twice by accident!
AND I LOST MY KICKASS FLAME, UNBREAKING, POWER BOW! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRGHHH!!!
>: ( I hope you're happy, vechs.

Raided the
Started raiding the armory. Cleaned most of it out, except that place up the stairs. Only had a few creepers go boom so far, nothing important blown up.
Once that's done, It's time to start moving everything down to Intersection 1. *looks at his 8 double chests of loot* ...I'm not gonna like this, am I?

Enchantment question:
Just how much durability does unbreaking X give you?

UUUghhh......that was madness.
Damn fire spiders. Killed me at least 3 times.
I have all the fire weapons I'll need for a month, now, thanks. x_x
At least the dorms are 90% explored. That area filled with cobwebs near the box? !@#$ that place. I'm not going back there without at least Iron armor, with fire protection.
Well, at least I've got furnaces, 7 double chests filled with random loot, and AN ENTIRE CHEST filled with chipped and perfect flamevenom fangs, and the books.
Ugh....what's next on the to-do list?
- Raid Treefarm for the rest of the wood.
- Raid the armory
Ummm...(remembers the army of creepers he saw when he tried out that spawn point)
!@#$ it, I'm raiding the tree farm first. I need a break.

Depends.
If so, then probably not.... XD

Don't tell me I'm the only one to be surpised by a BENIGN spawner. Especially in a vechs map.
This was my thought process at the time of seeing that spawner:
Dum de dum, SWEET, this looks like a good setuuuuaaaaaahh!! spawner! It's gonna chuck a ton of creepers all over the plance and ruin the-
Huh? It's....not...spawning anything? What the....is that a bottle it's dropping? Wait, my screen just contracted like it does when I get a speed potion....
WAIT WHAT?! YOU CAN DO THAT?! VECHS GAVE US THAT?! WHAT KIND OF INSANITY IS THAT?!
Also, I was thinking railway as well. I mean, given that I have a full gigantic model railway kit back at base. XD

woops.
*fix*
Sorry.

Update:
I'm....huh. The upper mines aren't too bad actually...
Inferno mines:
[spoiler]
Ok, so...Yeah, I started slowly raiding the dorms.
It's....surprisingly not that bad. I've had to make two trip so far, one per chest. LOTS of loot.
The flaming spiders were a surprise, yeah, but the first couple rooms haven't been that bad. my biggest issue has been running out of room, and needing to fall back.
Oh, and I found the first intersection on one of my exploration trips (read: remove anything valuable and just RUN to see what I can see before I get murdered.) . 0_o All I'm gonna say is: That spawner....What.....?
Moving stuff there eventually is gonna be a HUGE pain... Ugh....Gonna have to drag a mooshroom along too, that's gonna suck.

As the resident super-newb who hasn't really completed a single one yet (well, I DID finish Sunburn, but I had to switch to peaceful for one dungeon because I blew it open and got massacrated by 50 mobs at once.), it is my duty to try this new map out and see how long I can last before I throw my hands up and ragequit.

*boots up inferno mines*
How the heck am I supposed to kill them effectively when they rapid fire that quick at close range?! >_< I'm having to snipe them from really far away and sidestep all the time. And I look around very carefully before going onto those thin bridges that I see at places.
Anyway, checked out all three start points, and decided that Amanita was the best start. I'll take confirmed food over instant wood and loot any day.
Got coal, went hunting for the tree farm, found it, found the dorm (gonna raid later), raided the tree farm for two stacks of wood, made it home safe, spammed mooshrooms for lots of free stew...started knocking down the mushrooms because I'm sick of getting ninja'd by spiders and creepers who like to chill on top. Especially creepers. I'm using an Ice-World themed texture pack and white creepers are hard to see against sandstone... >_<
Now I'm doing alright, but I have one very important question.
WHERE ON EARTH IS THE STONE?! 0_o I've gone through one stone sword just getting to treefarm and back. I'm not comfortable with that. I need at least a stone sword or I feel like *puts on his TF2 Heavy accent* "little naked baby man with no team to watch back" *end accent*.
That and vechs has mastered the art of light level-patchworking. I have an area or two pretty well lit up and I STILL see enemies spawning there! X_X
