Jan 15, 2014Sometimes when I look at a page, it only partially loads. I try refreshing it and waiting but that does nothing. It loads the top of the page and the background like this. Is this a Minecraft Forums problem or a problem on my side. Thanks in advance.Posted in: Forum Discussion & Info

Feb 17, 2014Some players find the loss of all items and enchantment orbs too harsh on death yet if you /gamerule keepInventory true, it eliminates all the penalty completely.Posted in: Suggestions
That's why the death penalty should be tailored to your gameplay experiences and preferences.
I like playing on Easy mode yet if you die, the loss of all items and levels are too harsh on Easy.
Possible proposal is settings. There are five levels of penalty.
And there is another issue. If you respawn, you respawn with FULL hunger bar. It shouldn't be like that. That's why it's dynamic, according to the level. It can be separate settings.
Level 0: Keep all items and experience on death. Basically the same as /gamerule keepInventory. Good for the players who stays on peaceful. If you use /gamerule keepInventory true, the setting is locked to this level.
Level 1: Items on hotbar are kept on death, but some of the random items in inventory will be dropped. 30% of experience is lost. (Peaceful or Easy)
Level 2: Only the items on hotbar are kept on death. You lose 60% of experience on death. (Easy or Medium)
Level 3: Only the item you currently hold is kept. All others are dropped. You lose 90% of experience on death. (Medium or Hard)
Level 4: All items and experience are lost on death. For the hard mode players.
Level 0: Respawn with 100% hunger, 10 saturation points, and FULL health even if max health is above 10 hearts.
Level 1: Respawn with 90% hunger and 10 hearts.
Level 2: Respawn with 75% hunger and 7.5 hearts.
Level 3: Respawn with 50% hunger and 5 hearts.
Level 4: Respawn with 25% hunger and 2 hearts.
Servers can also set up with death-level variables that goes from 0 to 4. Another property called respawn-level dictates what hunger and health you will have on respawn. Once again it goes from 0 to 4.
Once again, these are separate settings so you can have level 3 death penalty but level 0 respawn penalty, for example.
Feb 13, 2014This suggestion in short makes dropped items created by explosions fly away from the epicenter. It gives a feeling of flying debris, making explosions slightly more cinematic.Posted in: Suggestions
To be able to code this, items will be generated while an explosion occurs, not after. The distance they fly is generated by this equation.
Distance = Explosion Power - Distance from epicenter +2
The explosive power caps at 100, so if a player makes a power 500 explosion, the items will only go up to 52 blocks.
Also, explosions that generate fire will make the items leave behind fire particles as they fly through the air.
Feb 7, 2014I have seen MANY topics with people complaining about 1.8. I don't think they get it: Mojang has about 1-2 months to design an update based off a bunch of new features. I would like to see these complainers design an update in a few months. Also, for those who say there are "barely any features in 1.8!" check the dang wiki! Have you guys even looked at it? The changelog is MASSIVE! Think: 1.8 is adding so many mapmaker features, more customizable skins, new blocks and much more!Posted in: Recent Updates and Snapshots
I understand that everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but honestly wish people would stop complaining that Mojang is adding "nothing but things from mods". Do you guys realize that mods cover just about EVERYTHING that isn't in Minecraft. Mojang has to add something.. And mods cover almost everything!
Sorry if this is really ranty, but I just want people to stop complaining about the "lack of features and this 'suckish' update!".

Feb 2, 2014When I defeat the ender dragon and go back home, I usually want to return to the end to farm endermen, or to collect endstone or obsidian. But strongholds are pretty farm from spawn most of the time, and its annoying to walk back and forth each time, so that's why end portal frames should be craft-able. And this is NOT overpowered, because you need items from the end to make it. It would be crafted like this:Posted in: Suggestions
Thanks to MineJaxMC for the image! (The recipe will give you 12 end portal frames)
(And yes, I typed "craft-able end portal frames" in the seach bar and I got no results)
Feb 2, 2014It telleports when you touch it.Posted in: Legacy Console Support
1: build a platform over the portal so you can walk around it.
2: touch the egg and make it telleport to the ground.
3: leave 1 block directly under the egg and under that block dig out a hole and place a torch.
<--- end stone after your setup matches this break this block <<<---
4: Break the block the egg is sitting on.
The egg should fall onto the torch and turn into an item that you can pick up.
Jan 20, 2014I made this suggestion in the main Suggestions forum, but perhaps it should be here, too (or here exclusively rather than in the other one???).Posted in: MCPE: Suggestions
I have been playing the PE for about a year. I have read that Villagers may be added to PE in the next update. Since I prefer to make underground constructions rather than above ground, I was hoping that Mojang might consider a method to allow Villagers to populate underground spaces without needing to dig tunnels all the way to the surface, which really messes with multi-level underground structures.
My proposal would be that a valid underground house could consist of a wooden door and a torch on an adjacent block. The "exterior" could be on the torch side (so the torch acts as your porch light). Like above-ground houses, if there are multiple torches on adjacent blocks, then whatever side has the most is the exterior.
I've seen lots of questions around about how to make underground villages, so I was hoping that something simple like adding a definition of a house that doesn't include sunlight might be a welcome addition.
Would anyone else be interested in such a proposal?

Jan 15, 2014Posted in: Forum Discussion & InfoWe've all seen those annoying redundant threads.
Like Emerald tools and...guns..
So why not a way to prevent them?
What is my solution?Well...here it is.A dialog box that pops up when you want to post a new topic.
To understand what I'm exactly suggesting, here is a picture.
http://imgur.com/0XkF20x Note- For some reason it wouldn't let me post with the image,so here is a link
When you search something in it, it will leave your the page and go to your results. You do this at the beginning so you don't waste time posting a redundant topic,or after all your long work.
While this might not get rid of redundant topics fully, it will cut down on them. Since people are very lazy.
Constructive criticism is appreciated.
