I just installed this mod and everything went smoothly, the guns appear and shoot fine, but I have lost all sound in the mine craft game. The sounds are still in the resource file and I am using a mac. Any ideas? Did a search but could;t find anything.
That happened to me too. I couldn't figure out the problem so I just deleted my entire minecraft folder and started over. I added all the files, added some guns, started it up, and it worked.
But simply stating what you can and cannot do is not only reassuring, but helpful for both ends in the long run. i.e. can you...
Configure Permissions?
Create custom plugins?
Find new plugin updates quickly/effectively?
Help with understanding how to manage newer players (before they log on)?
Answering such questions will benefit you.

I'd kind of like to point out that building skills aren't administrative skills. I'm not singling you guys out as only builders, but you seem to have a keen drive at the building aspects of what you do.

... and we know it all works now. Just had a first user join and it took us 10 mins to debug the perms. Your join should be a bit more smooth than his :biggrin.gif:
So this is only for creative servers? You're really limiting your options with just creative, if you expand you're skills to other types of servers, you would attract alot more attention. You can only do so much for creative servers, there arn't really alot or any good ideas for creative servers. They are there for people to create things, so Administraters don't have to. I think that what you're doing is amazing, but you should broaden your horizons. I believe this would be a success if that would become reality.

hmm... that is sorta misleading. 'Creative' describes the admin, not the type of server. I'll tell Nox to fix that. Yes, we do service all types of servers.
That's a problem with your minecraft login... you probably hit 'play offline' when logging in to minecraft.
Also, there seems to be a major bukkit crash bug I can't do anything about. If the server just shuts off every once and a while, it's because of that. Sorry for any inconvenience, but I can't fix that.

Things that are different on this server than others. READ THESE:
- We have long teleport timers to prevent PvP TPing. We consider TP to be a privilege. If you want to instantaneously move yourself and your inventory safely 5000 blocks, you gotta wait.
- We don't have /spawn. To go back to the rules room once applied, type /rules.
- To get to spawn from the wilderness, you can type /warp spawn and wait out the required time.
- We have a chopping tree plugin (Myriadaxe) that makes trees fall down one block at a time, instead of exploding. The tree isn't regenerating. If you look carefully, every time you mine a bottom block, the one on the top goes away.
well, I dunno what happened to it. I started playing with my friend yesterday, got a decent farm/base going. Today I log on, the server's reset, and a message saying 'Server kept going down I might make a new one' in signs at the spawn.
This is a shame... there was a server really close to this called Minepuncher. It got brought down by an admin oversight in plugins and got hacked. And now this one.
Pretty fun server... it's essentially vanilla on hardx2 mode with economy. No seriously... they tweaked the mobs for extra damage to increase the challenge, and it worked. Nice admins, nice server, no lag so far.

I spawned into a new map with seed 'HMS Beagle' and spawn looking out from a beach. In the water, I see about 7 squid... Holy crap! I think 'heh - this is neat'... then I turn around, and I see about 8 more right next to the beach.
I've never seen a squid concentration this high before, pretty neat that it goes under the seed of a influential naturalist.
(I know, I know... seeds don't have effect on mob spawning, but it still happened)

And it crashes again. We're experiencing a mysterious but critical crash bug that we're fixing now.

That's a problem with your minecraft login... you probably hit 'play offline' when logging in to minecraft.
