That is kind of the point of the book, is it not? The way I read it, it's sort of questioning of one's ability to define and determine what reality is, as well as the changeable nature of humanity when it comes to what is "true". So to have given the reader the truth at the ending would sort of destroyed the point of the book.
The book was just more of an example of what we have been reading in class, but yes, I know what you mean.
I'm not saying vagueness is bad writing, but in some works it just seems to be an excuse for laziness.
Wow all the atheists is astounding. Pretty much every religion percentage site claims 2.1 billion Christians I am wondering where they all are because even though we outnumber 2 to 1 there is like three times as many atheists. O_O

Generalizations, while not 100% correct, are safe to make.

I mean holy ****, what's-his-face (I haven't read it in a few months, nor am I in a very good state mentally right now) essentially told the protagonist that Big Brother was a figurehead, and that every member of the Inner-party was at least somewhat insane.
I understood I would get this reaction as people often like this writing, but in truth, I prefer "the cat is red, the house is blue" more than I do slight vagueness.
I'm tempted to believe everyone is born bisexual, and society forges them one way or another.
Like, I got over my homophobia just recently and I can now imagine myself in a relationship with another man. It didn't feel like I was learning something new, but rather removing an existing impediment.
Speaking of bisexuality I have often thought *although I am straight, and not gay at all* that being 100% straight, or 100% gay is the wrong way to be, as it excludes half love. It's as if I choose one path just because I like women parts, or the other because I like male parts. Bisexuality however can expand upon that to just be for love and nothing else. However in most bisexuality cases I have seen, it's just that they like both parts.
In my eyes Sealand is just a pathetic attempt at trying to get attention to be a Wikipedia article.
I would much rather see an oil rig type project, it would be more interesting than two cylinders and a few buildings.
