I've been playing since 1.4 (Oct 2012) and I work a bit on linux servers so it seemed like a good idea to put the 2 together, starting a game server in May 2014 and then a vanilla server in Sep.

Gamer geeks NZ http://www.gamergeeks.nz/ is a website to provide details and updates about the server as I realised not everyone has facebook, and I didn't want to force people into using facebook.
