    Also on the topic of the new blocks vs stay vanilla, I really want cherry trees to be plantable outside the one biome, i think if you added cherry leaves and cherry wood (looks like oak but the center has a more pinkish center, its planks could be pinkish.) and maybe one more wood, it would round it out very well... and maybe a few new flowers... Thanks for listening

    Does this mod use the forge biome dictionary? AKA will it be compatible with mods like ars magica and TC4

    Hey azanor! Im direwolfs most recent video you explained that you wanted for people to get a clear distinction between vis and essensia, and I think i have an easy way for you to do that:
    So there are the six elemental Vis: terra, aer, ignus, aqua, ordo, and the dark one :P
    There are also six essentia aspects with those same names, so people get confused and thing that they are the same thing, so why not just rename the six essentia?
    Terra can be the old dirt aspect (cant recall the name)
    Aer can be wind or something of that nature
    Aqua can be another water based name
    Ignus can be renamed heat (or the latin equivalent)
    An so on and so forth, and changing the symbols for the essentia will only further make a break between the two.
    This way may take a bit of tweaking to aspects of certain items but hey, whats alpha for right? :)

    Thats just my 2 cents anyway

    Yes, the TC 3 infusion altar is going away.
    However infusion crafting will stay and it will sort of work like it did in TC 2... except as a multiblock... without gui's... and with a minigame to make the crafting semi interactive.

    That is what TC 3 infusion was supposed to be like as well, but time constraints made me add it in the lame crafting table + aspects form.

    Infusion crafting will be used for high-end recipes - stuff that you generally don't want to create en-masse.

    Yay :) i liked the tc2 infuser alot and that combined with the new tc4 stuff will be cool :) i dont like the aspect based crafting as much as i thought it was, i would more prefer that the crucible just required a few items (Like for nitor it would be glowstone, coal, and a torch, in that order, then a tap of your wand to put a touch of fire vis in and BAMMIE you have nitor :) that was my dream for tc4 anyway

    I understand that but there you still craft items with those advanced aspects (in the crucible) and theyre still found on items... The 6 "primal aspects" are really just six diffrent kinds of vis, and i think all crafting should be done with that. Because the way it seems to be now (And forget not it is prone to change) Is you use more advanced aspects to craft things, i think if you got the six kinds of vis, then bottled them in small vials of 4 vis, then you throw those in the crucible (to get your aspects) then throw in you regant (See Soryans Stream from last night) and bammie you crafted something, i think that breaking items down into there research aspects doesnt make alot of sense and maybe a later research will let you breakt them down into pure primal vis (only the six aspects).

    Thanks for the info on the update, i just kinda wish you would do public betas, but i totally understand if your not to keen on it. Im sure the forgecraft peeplets are better bug reaporters/ stress testers then most of the gearal public anyway :) now for a crazy evil plan to get onto forgecraft... Maybe it invloves golems... Who knows >:D

    Cant wait for the mod to update :) So what is the world-gen going to look like? Are there still going to be vis shards? how about amber and quicksilver? I personally wasn't a fan of the new shards, and dont see a use for them now that wands are being redone (Fabulously i might add) Best of luck on thaumcraft 3.1 :)
