ummm, are you saying they have added this, or they should add this?
also, its not as simple as that. if it were that simple, there's a good chance it would have been implemented already... for a redstone miner i would have put a little more thought into this one...

posted a message on Why can't updates be released on time ?
    Quote from Shad0_

Why, you ask, and so you should get.

    • There are many bugs in the releases that need to be fixed. They release builds to people so they can fix these bugs.

    • Sometimes they find game breaking bugs that they HAVE to fix.

    • Normal, natural customer of Minecraft does not want game breaking bugs.

    • Apple requires a ton of time for approving.

    • Playstore needs around 2 hours for approving.

    P.S. Replace Z with S.

The devs do this to make sure they aren't a lot of bugs/glitches so the game is more enjoyable

    Quote from Akynth

Asking why updates can't be released on time means that there are set release dates that the developers have missed. I.e., they said "we'll release version X on date Y" and then they don't make it. This is one reason why they don't set such dates.

I'll say the same thing to you that I said over in the XBox section this morning: You bought the game because that was a game you wanted to play, right? (I can't imagine anyone buying a game that wasn't something they wanted to play!) So ... enjoy playing it. If they give you more stuff for free, that's a bonus. But you've already got what you paid for; don't complain that you're not getting extras too.

    Quote from ThatOneCrafter

Because all the devs are lazy and they all suck at what they do. No. Coding takes time. Understand that.

    Quote from Billsofat

Remember how many bugs were in 0.7.0?

    -Furnaces were broken

    -Armor cant be taken off

    -Fire animation weird

    -Eating animation missing

-More annoying game breaking bugs that made me want to go to 0.6.1

They are trying to avoid that for 0.8.0 and you should be happy they are.

Also, there is no "on time". It is when the update is ready!

These guys are right, +1's everyone. The reason they don't give release dates is so people like you don't complain about overdue updates. Anyway, unless you didn't notice, since Tomasso Chechi joined the Mojang team, the growth in additions was exponential

I am happy its taking a long time. More time with working on it means less bugs and higher quality gaming. The longer the better.

    does this work for 0.7.6

    oops yes i meant 0.7.6, not 0.7.4

Ok, so even though they didn't officially add full render Distance in 0.7.4, you can achieve it if you follow these simple steps:

But before I start with the steps I'd like to say in my personal opinion if I were you I'd wait until 0.8.0 (which shouldn't be too long now right) since they will be adding bigger worlds and if you have infinite render distance and infinite worlds, you can expect huge lag and lots of space chewed up.
    So,
By the way all of these instructions are on windows, I don't know how it works on mac.
    1. Firstly, you DO NOT need to be jail broken, you just need iExplorer or iFile. (I will explain using iExplorer.)
    2. Plug your iDevice into the computer and go to APPS.
    3. Go to Minecraft: Pocket Edition and click Documents, com.mojang, and when it has 'minecraft worlds' or 'minecraft app' click minecraft app.
    4. Now, locate the file 'options.txt'
Drag it onto your desktop, (or press edit) and press 'open with' and chose 'wordpad' go down to 'Gfx_renderdistance' it will say =2 or similar, change the 2 to a 0.
    5. In the top left, press 'save'
After you edit the options.txt on your desktop, you have to drag the file into the minecraft app folder, and press replace.
    6. Exit the wordpad and iExplorer, disconnect your iDevice and open MPCE.
    7. Viola, you have infinite view distance
    Please feel free to respond.

Seriously. Why. No one has even hinted that this might be an option, which, FYI, it is not. Endearment are not in 0.9.0 and even if u want them to be, this is the wrong place to say it

Why is no one answering his question?
No they don't have set dates for when they release updates just when they think it's finished. Not surprising seeing as they are an indie company, they barely ever have set dates for updates/releases

    Quote from M33kMiner

If they have set dates for the updates or
do they just release them when they feel like?

Ok, I'd say the reason they haven't set scheduled release dates is because not all updates take the same amount of time to develop, and if they had to release an update every so often, they wouldn't be able to finish larger updates.

Hello guys , and welcome back to another minecraft planned changes showing

And now we are talking about a 0.8.0 planned changes , and this version its added some a bigger world into your minecraft Pocket edition , this is soo cool , and i thing its update after 0.7.3 or 0.7.4 , that is in a planning of a change , i think in my next topic i wan't to add about 0.9.0 or next version .

    THANKS FOR THIS TOPIC

Wow. Seriously. How many grammar and spelling mistakes did you just make? You probably can't speak English anyway. Sentences aren't meant to be that long. Ever. You speak like a you tuber, and spell like a grade 1 kid. You ought to be learning to spell, not telling us things that aren't even true. 0.7.6 is coming next, a small update before 0.8.0, which will add larger worlds.
    Geez.

posted a message on 0.8.0 Sneaking?
    Yeah, it's a fair assumption.
There's a dire need for it, considering that with the current state of never getting hungry, there is no need for food.
You might say that after taking damage you can eat, but you might as well just kill yourself. That way you lose no food and you can get all your stuff back, it's not like PC where you risk losing XP.
So, adding sprinting will probably come with hunger.

Is there Wolves or jungle biomes and temple traps and dispansers and lighting creepers and blaze and ended egg and nether portal and NPC villages

if not i will not update if so I will update it

    :-)

    Wow.
Not gonna swear, but seriously? Have u gone crayfish? It is foolish to even consider the possibility of these things being added!
Wolves will probs be added in not too long, jungle biomes and 'temple traps' MAY be added when they port world generation, same with NPC villages, dispensers will be added along with levers and buttons, whenever that is...
ALSO, The End will not be added for a while I imagine, as they have not even perfected the over world. Blaze is a Nether mob and they have planned on implementing a huge Nether-ish dungeon, as replacement for the current nether reactor, as opposed to the PC style nether.
As for lightning creepers, I dunno.

You do realize that means more Biomes and Mobs right???Well I would guess they would add more mobs if more biomes, They are going port Minecraft PC World Generation and put it on PE, Which will also include Generated Structures :steve_joyous: read it here
    http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Pocket_Edition_upcoming_features

More biomes DOES NOT mean more mobs! Porting map generation from PC simply means maybe (probably) more biomes. Adding mobs will come later, and I imagine they will implement breeding BEFORE more mobs.

They did not say buttons and levers, they're adding powered rails, rails, minecarts and mineable redstone, and no redstone torches either.
    Don't assume stuff
