Will you please quit saying that? It's getting really annoying, and its as if you want everyone to quit the mod just because the updates taking a long time.
And no its not dead, Xolova confirmed so. -

XolovA, I have a question for you, why don't you add anyone's ideas into AoA? People make really great ones, too.
Because lets be honest, most of the ideas suggested are rather poor, another thing Xolova won't add are boss suggestions drawn in MSpaint/ other paint programs
And for the last time
STOP. SUGGESTING. BOSS. MUSIC. (I'm not just saying this to you Ryan, I'm saying it to other people as well) -

Xolova posted a message on Adventure Ascending ◘ OFFICIAL Advent of Ascension Server! ◘ 24 Dimensions To Explore ◘ 30 Bosses To Fight ◘ [NO LAG] ◘Posted in: PC Servers
This is the official server for the massive mod Advent of Ascension. This server has many worlds to explore to fight your way through interesting and engaging new adventures. Explore 24 different dimensions and earn insane new weapons and armor to complete your journey.
Server: OfficialAoA.PlayAt.CH
Teamspeak: ts60.gameservers.com:9411
Currently this server only runs one mod which is: Advent of Ascension. There are a few plugins as well as specially designed plugins just for this server. In the future if there is an outstanding amount of people who would be interested in more mods/plugins being added, it is very possible that they will be included.
Currently players can claim land to mark as their own for their home. Each player starts out with a specific area and gains more blocks that they can claim on a per hour of play basis.
Failure to comply with rules will result in various consequences.
Most of these should be common sense, but for fairness to everybody they will be listed out here.
1. No Griefing
Even though this shouldn't be possible due to plugins that prevent grief prevention as well as house claiming, do not grief people, it's pointless, immature and silly.
2. No Stealing
Do not steal from people. If they don't lock their chest, don't take stuff from it without their permission.
3. No PVP
Only PVP somebody if they accept the fight in the first place. Currently there are no PVP hours.
4. No admin Impersonation
Don't pretend you are an admin. There is no point.
5. No Cheating
Hacking/glitching/bug abuse of any kind is not tolerated. If you are one who points out cheaters or glitches/bugs within the server or the mod,
there may very well be some kind of reward.
6. Respect
Treat people nicely even if you don't wish to be treated nicely. We maintain a welcoming environment on the server.
7. No Outline Claiming
Do not claim blocks in an outline of what you want to be your house. You must claim your house and not an outline of it.
8. No Automatic Mob Farms
This one is a bit different but there is a reason this rule is in place. Due to the adventure style play that is on the server where player's can earn their rewards by fighting monsters, it would be best if all players actually fight the monsters. When there is several mob farms running at the same time it ruins the experience as well as creates lag. Non-automatic mob farms are allowed. If you need any clarification on this rule, don't hesitate to ask.
9. Have Fun
It's cliche but do it anyway. Your stay will be much more enjoyable if you do.

thehippomaster21 posted a message on [Aesthetic] Animated Player - Compatibility and Flying! [v1.5.1]Posted in: Minecraft ModsAnimated PlayerBy thehippomaster21Updated!
Do you love Minecraft's default animations? Are you obsessed with the way the Minecraft player looks and acts? Do you wish Minecraft's player would forever look the same way? Well if you do, then this isn't the mod for you!
After countless hours of working (it wasn't that long), Professor HippoMaster now introduces to you the Animated Player Mod! This mod completely replaces and reanimates the player model by adding more joints and better animations. Also, it's completely client-based, which means it works for servers too (just don't install it into the server)!
Now with rounded curves!
AnimationsCurrently this mod replaces animations for walking, running, swimming, jumping, sneaking, flying, riding, bow-aiming, blocking, climbing, hitting, eating, and drinking!
Face Expression
The player now has his own face! It has the following features that can be configured. Check out the custom textures section for more information on configuring. This features:
Moving eyes depending on where the player is looking.
Opening mouth when the player is panting.
Eyebrows that become sad when hungry and confident/angry when aggressive!
Hats
Hats now render each pixel individually to make it look better! This can be toggled in the config file.

Custom Textures
Check out DalekSlayer's Skin Library for animated-player-supported skins!
Feel free to contribute by writing on his page as well, and remember to thank him!
Your own textures work with the mod too! Just color in the right areas specified below, then upload your texture to minecraft.net! Also, make sure not to use pitch black or pure white as your colors, or else they may be ignored. However, if you want to change your offline player look, check out the features inside the configuration file in .minecraft/config/AnimatedPlayer.cfg.Face
Color in the Eye Overlay 1 to replace the skin at Eye Replacement 1 with animated eyes.
Color in the Eye Overlay 2 to replace the skin at Eye Replacement 2with animated eyes.
Color in the Eye Overlay 3 to replace the skin at Eye Replacement 3with animated eyes.
(AKA you can make 2x2 eyes or 2x3 eyes)
Color in the Eyebrows to give the player animated eyebrows above the eyes.
Color in the Mouth to give the player an animated mouth and teeth.

Uh, a 1.12.2 version was never announced, I think you're a tad confused, friend.
1
The name is amazing.
This may bee the best name for an addon ever.
I'm sorry, that pun was awful.
2
Mojang does not deal with mods as that's not their work.
Neither has Mojang stated AoA was Minecraft 2, if you found this online somewhere, tell us, because this sounds like you're either lying, have gotten something wrong, or have been lied to by someone else. Or I'm misreading, and it's not Mojang, but your friends that said that AoA is Minecraft 2.

The Advent server was actually the first modded server I played on too, and the first basic survival server as well.
Honestly, before I joined the server, I was much worse at the whole of Minecraft itself, after playing with the server, I eventually ended up getting better at playing modded and survival.
3
I have no idea why part of me said "Yes, this is a good idea"
I put a random mob's texture on a sword and...
1
I have a question for you... Why are you asking these random questions? To test us or to learn?
1
Or you're talking complete nonsense, I believe him not working has nothing to do with money, you still have a valid point though, not trying to be putting your opinions in the garbage.
I was on all day yesterday and I was completely alone the whole time except for when someone joined for about an hour or two. MegaMinecraft7, I think it was.
1
What is that purple ore there, in the bottom middle right-ish corner. that's not supposed to be there?
Vethea also wasn't JUST a hive dimension (it was themed around dreams/nightmares i believe), there was one single structure that was a hive
1
Honestly,
I'd recommend using AoA armor when in dimensions from this mod, just using invincibility armor takes all fun away, that's just my opinion though, and if nothing can kill you or cause a threat, there's nothing to worry about, nothing to keep you on your toes.
and not picking up bosses from Immortallis is probably a good idea.Right, the return crystal, you're not completely stuck then.

I wish that rune shrines, ascension shrines, creation forges and infusion tables took all the items in your inventory for the shrine at once instead of clicking it 8 million times.
