    Here's an update on where I am with 1.8.9. I'm waiting to update until Tinker's Construct releases their new rewritten source code for 1.8.8 so that I can once again add compatibility for it.

    Animal Info
    -Fixed crash introduced in 1.4.7 with horses
    Torch Aid
    -Right clicking with an empty hand will no longer place a torch (a tool is required). This is to help prevent issues with using an empty hand to right click various modded blocks.
    Item Selector
    -Will now show your inventory items on screen while holding down the hotkey (default: Alt)

    That's a bug that I'll fix in 1.4.7. Pressing "O" will toggle the animal info display on/off and if it's on it displays "animals" in the info line. The bug is that it displays even though it's turned off.

    'Mode' buttons in the config GUI can now be right clicked

    -The time between being able to sleep and when mobs start spawning is colored orange
    Health Monitor
    -Added a volume slider
    Quick Deposit
    -Will now extract the item in a furnace's output slot
    Potion Timers
    -Replaced the 'Use Potion Colors' button with a 'Text' button which also allows you to change the color to white, colored, or turn it off
    Player Locator
    -Will use the player's team color if they are on a team

    I never even thought about teams since this was implemented in 1.7.10 and I never used teams before. It'll be in v.1.4.4

    This is how the Distance Measurer was originally implemented but it was changed because there is no practical use for the euclidean distance. Instead it uses the longest axis because that is what people want to know when building things: "how many blocks away is that wall?", "how long should I make this?". I simply don't see any practical use for knowing that a block on the diagonal is 22.73 blocks away from me.

    It uses the same font that Minecraft uses. Because of that, you can use a resource pack and include your own font. I personally recommend using a 32x font.

    Try using one of the slew of microblock mods. Some let you chisel a block and make very detailed models in game, such as Ye Gamol Chattels.

    All too often people come here wanting to do something advanced but don't want to put in the work to learn how to do advanced things. Just go learn how to do it like the thousands of other people before you -_- .


    If you already know 4 languages then learning a 5th is very easy, you should know that if you already know 4.
