    I think leave it as a world type, because its the challenge of living and starting in caves, making it a dimension instead would defeat the purpose of it and get rid of any challenge. It would be, oh I need wood, let me go to the surface dimension. Oh, I need food, let me go get food from the regular dimension. I just strongly feel changing to dimension makes this mod greatly lose the current appeal it has.

    In terms of adding block types, If this mod stays a world type, I am all for new block types, if this mod turns into a dimension, I'd prefer any new blocks be only in the dimension with the option of being brought out.

    Lastly, regarding the surface it adds a sense of story to why there people reverted back to being "cave-men" because the surface became polluted and un-inhabitable.

    I think you should leave the surface in the game, however maybe change how it generates if possible. Make it still look like ruined villages, but maybe make it look more like ruined cities, or maybe the possibility to have ruined cities (meaning larger more "modern/urban" and ruined villages depending on the biome on the surface, (I have no idea if that is even possible, but it could make trying to venture to the surface more interesting, or an extreme disappointment.) Either way, don't get rid of the surface.

    I kinda take back my idea for the cities..... I think I've been playing to much Tekkit, with modernized everything...

    The "Mushroom Jungle" Zone gave me an idea, it would be interesting if you made a Mushroom Biome that either had mycelium or didn't, but had large mushrooms and larger patches of mushrooms, I mean if its suppose to be some sort of post apocalyptic type world, I feel like there would be random areas of the MASSIVE cave that had overgrown mushrooms and giant mushrooms, but make it very rare

    so, I usually use Rei's minimap because i got that one first and got use to it.... however I was wondering if it were possible to have a setting that makes it so the closest X amount of waypoints load, or the closest out of the ones that are on. With maybe another option that the waypoints within a set radius of the player are visible. If not its ok but I have some pvp servers that this would be amazing on so I dont die while trying to turn on and off waypoints. lol, if it is possble, I'll probably switch to this minimap for when I use servers, (also is it possible to use the waypoints i used in rei's for this minimap?

    I was wondering if you would be able to separate this mod into 2 or 3 mods, I really like the Solar Panel Block, Lunar Panel Block, Rain Detector Block, and Fire Starter Block, and I feel like everything but the portable house seems like they should be in a different mod... you don't have to by any means, its just something I would love because of 1, conflicts I have had with textures of your armor and other mod's armor, and 2, I really only care about the blocks I mentioned, (but hey, its your mod, do what you want)

    Campfire as well, only burns wood to make food,makes a camp look like a camp, basic survival in adventure mode without housing/bases.


    campfires aren't a bad idea, however all I really care about is having a second sleeping item that doesn't reset spawn

    I think a Bedroll doesn't have a seal or anything though, it's essentially just a padded mat you lay atop...rather than a pocket you slip into. That aside, my point was more for the name than anything else, as bedroll is more...nonspecific when it comes to time period. It's just a personal preference. :P

    the thing is that i might not spawn in a really nice or interesting area so I end up making my house very far from my initial spawn point. So if I then take a spare bed with me when I venture out, every time I sleep I reset my spawn point, and if I break my bed I will re-spawn at the initial spawn location, but I want to have a permanent bed in my house that is my new spawn point, and then have the bedroll, sleeping bag, 2nd bed as a portable sleeping device so my spawn does not reset every time I sleep, (It would still be an item you place on the floor and take up 2 blocks of space, it just doesn't have any effect on spawn)

    I think it would be nice if you can craft something that let animals breed on their own, but like a haystack that you can put in the pen with the animals and they will auto-eat the hay stack and after being eaten so many times you have to replace it because it is fully consumed. (I hate growing wheat and planting and farming, but with an idea like this id have to do it less I wouldn't mind as much)

    I can easily see the point of having this, so simply call it a bedroll. It could be made out of pure wool, of a quantity deemed balanced, and have a different appearance. Essentially, just a roll out padded blanket with a built in pillow. Could have the colors vary depending on the wool you use too.

    These would also make great cosmetic items as well.


    I think the bedroll and the sleeping bag are essentially the same idea... if I understand you correctly
