Where do you hear these Caribbean beats? Last time I checked, they didn't really play Caribbean beats... I don't really remember hearing any corny music from them - if anything their music is serious. Pool Shark - "Lying in my plastic bed thinking how things weren't so cool to me, my baby likes to shoot pool, I like laying in my bedroom, tyin' off that dinosaur (arm) off tonight, used to be so cool but now I've got that needle, and I can shake, but I can't breathe, take it away but I want more and more, one day I'm gonna lose the war." And he did end up losing the war. A song about his heroin usage.

What I Got was a kind of cheesy song, the only song that really I can even think of that was cheesy.. But clearly like you've said, you likely haven' tlistened to much of them, I really don't know where you go tthe caribbean beats thing from though, closest thing I can think of is you ehard the song "Foolish Fool" but I highly doubt it because it's a lot lesser known. But it's a cover of a Caribbean style song. Very reggae if you're into that.

Give them another shot - I'll show you a couple songs that aren't very well known and you can lemme know what you think. The great thing about Sublime is they play a wide variety of styles - so each song is like listening to something completely new. Here's one called Total Hate. He made his part in 45 minutes: Here's a lesser known one called Prophet - And lastly, here's a more known one called Greatest Hits - which is an amazing song with amazing bass:

The 651K is still going to choke under Dolphin's load.

So I'm basically stuck that I cannot handle speeds. Since I am completely inexperienced in the processing power needed for emulators such as Dolphin, what would you say would be the minimum requirements for Dolphin?

What kind of performance increases would I see, if any, if I got that 651K? Let's say, for the sake of simplicity, like Minecraft? I feel like my video card can handle enough, but I feel like my weak link at this point is my CPU, since it's the one thing left untouched. However, I really wouldn't like to invest in it if I see little to no improvement, I'd much rather get a higher upgraded Graphics Card if I can't get too much of a performance boost from this 651K.

You are correct, the 651K is the fastest processor for the FM1 platform. I honestly don't think you should get one if it isn't dirt cheap.

What would you consider dirt cheap? Well, I figure the mere fact that I currently only have 2 cores, the upgrade to 4 cores would be quite nice in its own, plus 2.4 GHz isn't a really ideal speed to me, I'd rather be on the 3 GHz at the least, which seems to be the fastest my mobo can support. I think the HIGHEST price I've seen for it go was 80 dollars.

Neither the graphics card or CPU is very good.

This would be the best CPU you can get without a new motherboard: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/amd-cpu-ad760kwohlbox

Yeah, I knew the Graphics card wasn't top notch, but I figured it was enough to get the job done. I'm more worried about the CPU, because that and the Hard Drive are the only two things I have not upgraded.

Are you sure that will be compatible with my mobo? http://www.cpu-upgrade.com/mb-ASUS/F1A75-M.html This says the best one for my mobo is the AMD Athlon X4 651K. I'd actually MUCH rather have the CPU that you linked. Reading the description, it says the socket is FM2. I only have an FM1 socket. (905).

Your processor is horrible for Dolphin

I figured so, but then the thought came maybe it was my graphics card, because while it is a middle-priced graphics card, I'd thought perhaps I still hadn't gotten a good enough video card.

May I ask, I was looking to getting a processor, and I've found the best one I can buy that supports my mobo, the AMD Athlon X4 651K. It is a Quad Core 3 GHz processor. Do you think this would be able to fit Dolphin's needs, or will I need an entirely new mobo?

By ROMs, I assume you mean emulators? If so, which?

    Dolphin Emulator. for Wii.

What's the model number of your CPU? Clock speed and number of cores doesn't really help much.

Sorry for the long response, I had to go to my job. I believe you're either looking for this: AMD E2-3200 APU w/ Radeon HD Graphics. I'm sure that would be enough.

So, I figured my computer is beefed out because I've upgraded my graphics card twice, although the first one is a cheap little dinky one anyways, I now have an nVidia GeForce 640 GT. My RAM is definitely not the issue - I have 16GB's of RAM. And according to the Windows Experience Index, all of my stats are at least at a 7.0 rating, except for my primary hard disk (harddrive).

So what's my issue? I can't play any ROMs without some pretty bad lag. I figure yeah, it was the settings, however, after fooling with settings for a good hour, then searching up all the YouTube video recommended settings for another hour or two, I've found that no amount of combinations has a positive impact on my ROM playing, I can only achieve a MAXIMUM of 70% in speed (VPS). My FPS is just fine, for the most part, it remains at 30 - 60 FPS, but the VPS (which causes some major, unplayable slowdowns) is horrendous, it's usually 40% speed - 70%. Meanwhile, I see other YouTubers reach a 100% - whilst recording.

So, I obviously need a computer upgrade, and everything in my computer has been upgraded with the exception of the CPU and Hard Drive. I originally intended to upgrade the CPU. But, I need another voice here to help me out. My current CPU is a 2.4 GHz Dual Core (AMD), and my primary hard drive only has 186GB of space in total.

So, my question is, Do I need to upgrade my CPU, Hard Drive, or am I due for yet another graphics card update?

Just wondering out of curiosity - because I'm wondering what a huge mod list would look like. According to Forge, I have 16 mods, however I've only legitimately got (disregarding required mods like Forge, CustomMobSpawner, bspkrsCore), 10 mods.

What would you consider a lot of mods in your Minecraft? How much do you currently have? What was the most you've had at one time, disregarding modpacks?

They have low spawn rates by default, but you can raise it in the configs.

What would you recommend raising the spawn rate to? I tried raising it to 100, but no luck in finding any.

EDIT: If it helps any, I'm using the 1.7.2 version

EDIT 2: It seems to be fixed after I took out Mo Creatures. I had a feeling it was the "CustomMobSpawner" that prevented them from spawning. But I could be wrong. I just know I didn't see any while Mo Creatures (which requires CustomMobSpawner, I took both out) was on, and then I took it out, and started seeing them easily. That, or with Mo Creatures, it becomes increasingly difficult to find anything. I hope I'm not the only one with that issue.

I am so glad you have continued the series. I missed this mod!

EDIT: So I installed the mod, no problems, until I played the game. I have every mob except the elemental creepers, but here's probably where somewhere got messed up (no crashes), I have quite an abundance of mods, including Millenaire, Treecapitator, Biomes O Plenty, CraftGuide, MoCreatures, CustomMobSpawner, bspkrsCore, Elemental Caves, and Pams Harvestcraft.

Possibly one of them is preventing the elemental creepers from spawning? I am seeing 0 elementals after 10 - 20 minutes of searching in the minecraft night. Yes, the mod is installed correctly, no crashing is happening, I'm just not seeing any elementals. Do I have to be on Hard difficulty? I tried both Normal and Easy.

EDIT 2: I put it on hard difficulty, no luck. I even amped up the spawn rate from 10 to 100 on all of them. No spawning of elementals whatsoever.

Are there any warmth mods already out there? If not, I feel this would be a great edition to those who like "realistic minecraft." People get cold, obviously, but your Minecraft character seems oblivious to the cold open middle of the night, even in snow biomes.

I believe, should the mod not already been made, that enclosed spaces (such as a house WITH a roof, holes in the walls/ceiling/wherever should cause a draft that decreases your warmth meter) will contain the heat, and stop your warmth meter from going down.

Since I am unable to keep my thoughts together in an organized manner, I'll just create a list of ideas.

-Certain blocks should be able to retain heat (optional)
-Certain things like Torches, lit furnace, and other things that may emit heat, should cause the warmth bar to go up, regardless of whether in an enclosed spot or not.
-Biomes should effect the warmth meter. Certain biomes at night will drain your warmth at different rates/speeds. You CAN get too hot (be wary of the desert!) Or you could freeze to death in the Tundra.

This is only meant for a very brief idea, and the only problem I could see is that it prevents you from going out at night, however, I'll compile very quickly some ideas in list-format once again to counter this.

-At night, depending on the biome (let's say it's the Plains biomes), once your meter is depleted, you've got a specified time to get heat before you start losing hunger or health.
-Torches at night should regenerate the warmth bar.
-Remember, this only applies to open areas that aren't in your home.

I'd like to see some responses, whether this would make the game too hard, or whether it's just a pointless mod, or what you think of the idea.
