I am currently working on designing a mob trap, and discovered the infinite minecart bug the same time as ZombieBrine did. ZombieBrine: In this post (http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/824855-minecart-tp-glitch), I was not in any way trying to steal your ideas, just showing you an example of a working teleportation (more like a no-clip) using your method, as your teleportation idea only works in creative.
Im working on a decent strength wall that only affects the outside, but keeps the inside neutral, expect a video some time in the next week :tongue.gif:
I found this out a while ago (1.8) and just hoped that it would be patched in 1.0.0, but it obviously was not. I found this more annoying than anything since I was making a cart-based 8bit counter.
