This has probably been suggested many times before but I just want to know what you guys think. Birds would add ambience to Minecraft and would drop feathers and bird meat, they would have 4 health points and spawn in plains and all types of forests. They would have a few different colors depending on the biome they spawn in, such as brown, green, red, and blue. the behavior of birds would be simple, they fly up in tree tops and spawn in groups of 3.
I kind of support this, but I am not a big fan of natural disasters in Minecraft because this is a game that is about building things, and things like tornadoes destroying/moving blocks kind of sucks because you aren't in control of these events and they can destroy your structures/make the terrain look ugly. This doesn't just matter for survival but if you are building a wool structure in creative mode for instance. You can at least kind of control of creepers by lighting your home area well and not going out at night, things like that. I would support but only if you make the tornadoes unable to move/destroy any blocks, and also they should only spawn in plains biomes because that's the only biome they typically occur in in real life.
Really that would be kinda fun for me because I wouldn't feel so sad about it because you have absolutely no control over it. but tornadoes do seem kind of mod like.
I love your ideas about seasons, it annoys me so much when mojang or just game companies in general, talk about new features and then not speak of them for such a long time, like they forget about it or something. Dinnerbone said he would add seasons but hasn't mentioned again since minecon.
I was a little bit confused when 1.8 was released. most updates start out a .1 or .2 like 1.6.1 or 1.7.2 but with the bountiful update it was just simply 1.8.
