There are certainly peak hours later in the day. But if you're just looking for a place to call home like you said then it should be fine even with only a few on.
Other Info:Never really found a long-term server,you either have servers that die in popularity,shut-down,get riddled by trolls and griefers or has serious lag,just trying to find somewhere I can play long-term.
